About this property
Lake house on the shores of Lake Champlain
Wake up with breathtaking views of Vermont’s green mountains and lake Champlain. The second floor is quite private from the first and provides a bit of privacy from the first. This allows some to go to bed early and others to sleep in.
The bathroom on the second floor was remodeled in 2021, using native stone in the shower.
The second floor bunk room is excellent for a family with young kids. The queen sized bunk bed allows the kids to sleep on the top twin and the adults to have the space of a queen.
The first floor is an open floor plan with beautiful views of the lake. The kitchen is placed so that noise from cooking should difficult to hear in the bedrooms.
The dining room table sits in front of a large window and is a great place to eat, plan the day, play games, or just unwind.
The fireplace is not necessary for heating the house but often provides just the right ambiance.
The stairs to the lake are steep, but a luxurious deck awaits half way down with a grill seating and two hammocks. The deck also provides a great vantage point to watch your kids play on the dock or shore.
We enjoy combing the beach for drift wood and making camp fires. The beach is a pebble beach that becomes sand at the end of the dock.
This lake house is perfect for family and friends.
