Good value with many limitations but I'd still chose it again
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very pretty condo in an excellent location. Upon barely finding the rental agency (no directions were provided-I suppose they wanted us to pay them to drive us there), the staff told me from her desk in another room that someone would be there soon to get us into our apartment. (She did not get up.) We had to nag the concierge 3 times for the garage opener and had to leave our rented car on a side street for the first 2 nights. The apartment was rented for 6 people but there were no sheets, blankets for the pull-out beds (which I searched every cupboard in the place for). My sons slept on the pull-out beds wrapped in our beach towels. I had to ask for the drinkable water that should have been there. The water in the plumbing ran out twice and I had to call and inform them. Upon check-out despite them knowing what time we intended to check-out and despite being listed as opening at 8am, at 8:15 the office was locked and we had to call the concierge on his cell phone AGAIN.

Reviewer Comments: the concierge was prompt and helpful...the location is great, although the traffic noise can be rather loud...the apt was adequately equipped...the cleanliness was generally good...a couple of problems were attended too promptly..some building maintenance needs to be done to repair water damage on a bedroom aware that electricity is extra, we were somewhat shocked with an approx 960 peso charge ($65CDN) for our 2 week stay despite our responsible use of the air conditioning...overall would recommend the apt..

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This apartament is very good. Is well located, near 5 avenue (where are most of restaurants and bars). Very easy to walk around. In the rooftop there is a pool, actualy ,two pools, was very pleasant to stay there. The air condicioning in the rooms and in the living room is good and very important, because the weather is dry and hot. There is a parking in the bulding. One block to 5 avenue. 2/3 blocks to the beach There is a big super market near, around 10 minutes walking. The only thing that is good to know but for me didnt bother, that in front of the apartament there is a public stadiun where there is every morning zumba class, and around 7;30 the class starts with loud sound, ut is caribean sound, than is good to warm up for the day, lol. This is the only detail that is good to know, but in any case was a problem for us.

I am truly impressed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Karina and her team at playa moments could not have better! I am so impressed. The condo was beautiful exactly like the pictures. More then enough room for myself and a friend. Ac was perfect did not even need it on all the time the condo stayed cool. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of towel, toiletries, and beach towels. We had our own patio to lounge outside and relax. Karina was not at the site but playa moments concierge met us at the condo showed us everything that was needed to know about our place and the stay. They gave us local suggestions for restaurants and discounts on beach clubs. I was always in constant contact with the team and had no worries during my stay. The rooftop pool is great we had it to ourselves nice place to relax and watch the beautiful skyline. The condos location was literally 2 minutes from 5th ave and 5-7 minutes to the beach. Everything is so close walking is recommend, no need for a car or taxi unless going to excursions, which we did a ton of and so easy to get transportation. So many great shops and places to eat at your disposal. If you are looking for something different then the all inclusive, being stuck at a resort this is the way to go. I had an amazing time in Playa del Carmen and would recommend this place any time! Thank you for such a great vacation that we did not want to leave.

We were a family of 4 and there was a lot of room for all of us with our luggage and snorkelling gear. The Rental was bright and clean and a grood location. A one minute walk to 5th and a short walk to the beach. Pool was clean and relaxing. Having the washing machine and dryer in the suite was essential and well used.

Lo mejor es la ubicacion a una cuadra de la quinta, a 3 de la calle de mamitas y en general a corta distancia de la zona de antros y bares (30 pesos en taxi o 15 minutos caminando). El área de la alberca esta muy agusto también. Definitivamente la consideraría en futuras ocasiones.

A Nice Space in a Central Location for a Bargain

The largest drawback is that it is on a really busy street across from the city park & you are awakened by the Zumba class almost every morning at 7:30a.m. The pool area is nice but is starting to show some wear; only 3 lounge chairs, no umbrella, all other furniture ratty & unusable. Not sure I'd stay here again.

Also not enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub even one quarter, so it makes that jacuzzi useless...too bad! The rooftop deck and small pool are great! The property managers are amazing and I would gladly stay with them again.
