Very quiet don’t notice any neighbours. The view is amazing. Cabin is nicely laid out. Was there for snowmobiling and the gas station is just around the corner to fill up in the mornings would stay at this cabin again
We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves very much (2 adults and 1 senior). The property was clean and the listing is accurate. It is very private and with the exception of some distant train noise at times it was very quiet. The pony and goats in the field behind the house made for a nice country feel. There are a few local restaurants and basic supplies available nearby. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We absolutely loved our time at the cabin!! We booked here in Valemount after everything in Jasper was booked up, but boy are we glad we ended up here instead.
The cabin itself is perfect for larger groups or even just 4 people like us. Very roomy, large dining table inside, patio table and seating outside, well-equipped kitchen, a couple lounge spaces for relaxing after long hikes, etc. The cabin had everything you could possibly need!
The views are AMAZING! A huge 2nd floor balcony and 1st floor patio overlook a beautiful pasture with two mini horses (What a lovely surprise that was! We had so much fun just watching them graze while we drank our morning coffee or afternoon beers) and the beautiful mountain views.
After 4 days in Banff with lots of hiking and the Icefields Parkway drive, this was a welcomed tranquil few days away from the touristy towns of Jasper and Banff. It also was only a 20 minute drive from white water rafting. Take note that if you are flying out of Calgary this cabin is in a different time zone and is a 6 hour drive. It is also located an hour and 20 minutes outside of Jasper.
Highly recommend and would love to come back some day!
After spending several days with activities in Banff and Jasper, the stay at Westview Cabin provided much needed rest and relaxation in a beautiful setting prior to heading home. The picturesque mountain views with the morning sunshine was good start for the days that we stayed there. Kids enjoyed watching the miniature horses next door.
