Gorgeous and serine!

We have had such a great relaxing stay. The cabin was beautiful and perfect and we loved the location. The cabin had all the amenities desirable and I loved the glassed in screen porch where I listened to the raindrops. Marvelous!

Breathtaking

We've turned the mountains into a yearly family geteway and this year im so glad we chose Sashas Cabin! The owners were amazing from the start check in was so smooth. The owners text and called me with plenty of useful information regarding local stores and activities. The views were beyond believable. We also brought our puppy he is 1 and house trained he had the most fun he's ever had! The creek and path behind the house were a nice addition to explore. We will definitely be coming back!

Tranquility in the Woods

This cabin and it’s setting were absolutely perfect! The woods are all around, but cleared enough to enjoy a gorgeous view of the mountains!! We had everything we needed and the owners were very kind and hospitable!

The views were simply spectacular! Owner was awesome!!

This cabin is stunning. So much room! The views from the front porch were incredible. The sunroom was way cool, table for games or family meals, great place to to play checkers, do puzzles, relax and read a book. The front porch view….WOW! The front yard has a fire pit that we used every night. We grilled out using the gas grill on the back porch every meal. The front yard is lovely and our chihuahua thoroughly enjoyed basking on the warm wood planks. Best part was the communication with the owner. He checked on us, called me with tips for outings, helped me locate a light switch, and overall was a genuinely wonderful host, best Ive ever had at a VRBO. We will definitely use this cabin again, and next time we will bring the whole clan!

Relaxing Cabin with amazing views

This is our (my BF and I) second stay at this wonderful cabin. It was great the first time and even better the second time. The new owners added some upgrades such as railings around the cabin and on the backyard bridge. Upgraded the decor, bedding, and kitchen supplies. This place is awesome. When we decided to go back to Maggie Valley, we searched many different cabins but nothing compared to this one. It has that cabin feel but with some modern touches. This time, I brought my son, my sister and her two kids. The kids loved being all together in the upstairs bedroom. Plenty of room for everyone. After a long day for visiting trails, it was nice to start a fire and hangout in the living room. The backyard is an adventure of its own. With a walking path, bridge, a stream and even a little waterfall. So much fun. The views around this cabin are amazing. It’s nice to sit on the porch every morning with a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the view. Greg, the owner was super helpful and thoughtful. He sent us a text before arriving wishing us a well stay, gave tips on places to go, etc. I was able to chat with him one day and he was super nice and friendly. We appreciated his hospitality. We look forward to staying in this cabin the next time we are in Maggie Valley and hopefully for a longer stay, we didn’t want to leave.

Quite and peaceful with beautiful view

The place was so quite and beautiful. Very much enjoyed our stay and the view. It had a nice little trail in the back and ends at a little creek. The location was convenient and there were many places to visit nearby.

Great family time

Got to bring the whole family together and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Great Smokey Mountains! The house was so comfortable and set up perfectly for our family gathering. We had great meals and fun games all together at the big table in the sunroom. The owner is great about responding quickly to questions... which made it even better. Loved the place. Highly recommended!

Perfect covid get away!

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin, it’s close to everything in the valley yet you feel like your alone up on the mt when at the cabin. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4- very clean, roomy, comfortable, very well stocked with everything we needed. We will def stay here again.the sunroom was our favorite!! We loved the close access to all the mt trails as we went for hiking mainly in the backcountry trails. We went to get away from people and stay in our covid bubble as a family and we had no problems with this but we stayed away from the shopping and restaurants in Maggie valley which were shockingly crowded with people during this pandemic. The area is beautiful, the cabin is perfect, the owners are perfect hosts. Definitely give this cabin a try you will love you time away from the world!

Beautiful Secluded Cabin

We had a wonderful time here! Not only is the cabin cute and well stocked, but it is on a gorgeous secluded lot in the middle of the woods (with a beautiful view)! Conveniently located in the middle of several national parks and forests, we enjoyed the nearby scenery and hikes. The cabin has a beautiful sunroom, a well-stocked kitchen, and pretty good WiFi. Would highly recommend for retreat or some time away from the world!

Great mountain escape!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Great cozy cabin tucked in the woods at about 4Kft with great views. The creek was a great little spot and the walkway was perfect. The added plus we did not expect was having 4G internet, which we both needed as we had to work, and the stereo system which was outstanding! As a music lover, this pushed it over the top! It is rustic or has that rustic feel which I personally enjoy. We had a nice fire almost every night in the fire pit and it was great to watch the sun set on the mountains and see the sky change colors. Cabin was well stocked although it could benefit from the addition of more towels and kitchen towels and perhaps some additional lighting in certain areas. Beyond that, it’s great! Thank you for opening your cabin to our family.

Cozy mountain cabin makes the perfect getaway

We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Directions to cabin were excellently detailed. Cabin was comfortable and homey feeling. The heat works great and the fire place was perfect for cold winter days. Future tennants should bring ice melt/salt, a bag of ice, and check the pantry before they go to the store. The sun room makes even a gloomy day bright. We would definitely stay there again!

Excellent experience

The cabin, location, and experience were all incredible. I can't think of a single improvement. Every possible necessity has been provided, and then some. You cannot imagine the quaint beauty of this perfect little piece of heaven until you awaken to the amazing view, and in our case the dusting of fresh snow which we enjoyed from the fabulous sunroom. I have to say that I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that gave me such a comforting feeling. This place is a relaxing getaway in itself. I would love to see it in the spring.

Could've been better

Upon arrival there was major evidence of mice; droppings in all the kitchen drawers & cabinets as well as along the walls in almost every room. Owner did respond to our concerns by sending exterminator & housekeeper; however, we felt the need to clean everywhere ourselves as droppings were missed. There was supposed to be stacks of firewood for fireplace in 2 different locations on property, but it was nowhere to be found. There was nowhere to put trash during our stay; since we had 3 children we couldn't leave the bags in the cabin & there was nowhere secure outside, so we ended up making a trip to the dump. The couch cushions were losing their stuffing and there were multiple dining room chair backs broken. The staircase has no railing, so definite hazard for small children. The cabin is for sale, by the way. To end on a positive note though, the wi-fi was excellent and the view from the porch was awesome; we enjoyed several beautiful sunrises!
