Welcome to Lily Rock Lodge! Lily Rock Lodge was constructed in 1963 and has a dramatic and unique open floor plan with 2,700 square feet of living space. The stairs and a portion of the upper level are “cantilevered” over the first floor and the ceilings in every room are knotty pine. The lodge’s soaring 30-foot ceilings and a dramatic antler chandelier give that "wow!" factor. “Lily Rock Lodge” is perfect for a romantic getaway or a large family gathering. The lodge has a private Jacuzzi hot tub, pool table, and a 55-inch HDTV with a Blue Ray player. The home's huge grand fireplace and antique potbelly stove fireplace create a warm and charming ambiance. “Lily Rock Lodge” offers a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the necessary tools to prepare amazing meals. If cooking is not for you, the Lodge is just located a few minutes from the center of Idyllwild, which is loaded with great restaurants and shops. Lily Rock Lodge is a gorgeous lodge with everything one could ask for in a vacation: amenities, ambiance, views, and privacy. Spend your weekend in the lap of luxury at this mountain home!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:

This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

- Check-in instructions: Please check in at the main office.

Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).

- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be held liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.

- County permit number: 001278

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Better Than Before!

Beautiful setting with great views from deck. Very comfortable and clean. Home has pool table but location in front of wood burning fireplace is odd. Expedia confirmation shows check in at 3pm and check out 11am. These times change once payment is received-non refundable- to 4pm and 10am respectively. Best to read property contract before booking to avoid surprises.

Woodsy Charm Meets Modern Convenience

Our family had a wonderful stay! We loved the hot tub and pool table most of all, but the creek out back gets honorable mention, too. My brother and I kept challenging eachother to cold plunges, and it was as cold as it was revitalizing. The kitchen was impressively stocked, so cooking meals was enjoyable and easy. Really neat coffee machine, too. And I thought being up in the mountains meant no wifi or streaming services, but I was wrong! So really, this place has it all.

Lily rock resort in the snow

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The lodge was very well situated and stocked. The snow was incredible. We wish the previous visitors cleaned up after their dog on the patio. The spa was broken and had no power and no response from management company when contacted about it. Other than those minor details the location was as if we were deep in the wilderness and it was great for getting away from the city.

Beautiful Property, Disappointing Customer Service

This property is managed by a vacation rental agency with its own agreements, policies, and in person check-in process in downtown Idyllwild FYI. Prior to arrival, I was told that three spaces would be available at the property but quickly came to find out that maintenance had barely shoveled out two true spaces, leaving me and my guests to shovel out parking spaces, the walkways, and access to the hot tub. Management wouldn’t help further, claiming they only guarantee one space for a house that fits 10 people… Further, this property has a hot tub on the deck which we shoveled out and then only came to find out is broken after calling management late on Friday night. This was a huge reason why we booked this rental, and management didn’t even bother being honest and upfront about it being broken ahead of check-in. I am really disappointed with the lack of accuracy as well as having spent over $1500 for two nights to spend hours shoveling snow. I do not recommend renting, management clearly doesn’t care about guest experience at all.

Rustic Cozy Home

We had a very nice weekend with family for my husbands birthday. The kitchen was very well stocked and the space was perfect for our family. My only call out is that most of the sleeping arrangements are set up in a loft style area. Very comfy unless you have a family member who snores. 😊 otherwise it was a delightful and comfortable stay for a long weekend getaway.

Great spot for a getaway

The cabin has tons of places to sleep and great amenities. The wrap-around deck made for a great place to soak up some sun and grill out. The biggest knock on the property is there really is only 1 true bedroom so privacy is scarce, though it worked out fine for us. The kitchen is quite large and was easy to have multiple people in prepping food. The other part that could have gone smoother and seemed unnecessarily difficult was the back and forth from the rental company about a copy of my credit card. I used a virtual card to pay for the stay which caused quite a bit of confusion. The check-in process was very easy though and we had keys and directions in about 2 minutes. Overall, loved the property and the vacation and highly recommended.

Luxury Cabin in the Woods

Our family couldn't have been happier with the Lily Cabin. In addition to the hot tub and pool table which we specifically searched to find, the cabin was much larger than we expected, with a massive deck and wonderful loft with well stocked game room. The kitchen was fabulous, large, and well appointed. We even enjoyed the piano with sheet music!

The Best Place to Start the New Year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We experienced a wonderful time at Lily Rock with family and friends during the holiday season. The home felt like a ski lodge. Spacious, cozy, and full of character. Plenty of room for everyone to hangout together or to enjoy their personal time alone next to the fireplace with a book. The large kitchen area was great for entertaining. Both the pool table and jacuzzi were life-savers for the days we stayed at the house and had to keep people entertained. The surrounding area of the home was amazing. Snowball fights and sledding in the fresh snow that dropped from the first night; the beautiful hiking trails that led up to the most amazing picturesque views of the mountain scenery. And the quick drive into town to check out the local shops and personalities was definitely a highlight of the trip. The only complaint we had was the lack of parking spaces. When the first group arrived at the house the parking spot was taken by the cleaning staff that arrived there late due to staffing issues. This part we get. But, the first group that arrived couldn't unload their vehicle because the other two spots were not cleared from snow. So they had to park their car in town until the cleaners were finished to unload their vehicle. At which time the second group arrived and took the only available spot. So only one of the three vehicles had a spot to park which made it an inconvenience when shuttling people, including kids, to and from places. If there was a snow plow service available I would encourage that you make it available to guest especially during the snow season. Or have at least two spots available at a property that sleeps more than 10 people. Other than that... We had a great time and hope to make an annual event out of it. Thank you!

Quick Birthday Weekend

Came up with my son and friends to celebrate my birthday weekend. Great location and easy to find property. The property was more dated than the listing suggested. Very dark interior and not much lighting. Took about 30 minutes to figure out how to turn on all the lights. Upstairs is pretty wide open and no real bedrooms. More like a large loft with some walls separating sleeping spaces. 2nd floor is very creaky and loud noises upstairs and downstairs when people moving about. Jacuzzi water seemed dirty and wasn’t overall very clean.

Great place with small shortfalls

The place was in great location. It was clean & expansive. It could use more lighting inside & especially outside. The staff were very helpful in solving problems. The site however could use some accuracy. Would be a better experience if the pet fees and some other restrictions are explained within the page. Although the manager was more than courteous to help clarify things with us. There was no privacy for the 2nd floor bedrooms as they all lacked a standard door! The beds are harsh on the back. Everyone was in pain after the 2nd night. The kitchen and the whole house was very open and comfortable. The dishes and utensils were very nice and clean. Although the dishes were very heavy and clunky. Hard to hand wash and even harder to fit in the dishwasher without them tumbling over each other. Great art pieces on the walls. We were glad they were not real taxidermy! The pool table could use more cues. Nice big jacuzzi. All and all we had a great time and yes we will consider going back hopefully soon.

Lovely property

We had four adults and two children (ages six and ten) for four days and we all had a great time. The furnishings were just as pictured on the website and the view was as awesome as advertised. Our only negative issues were that the access to the house was poor for individuals with disabilities limiting walking and stairs. The railings on the deck and the stairs urgently need attention as using them could result in nasty splinters. Also, some of the nails in the decking have risen and could result in trips and falls.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I walked in the home had a dirty dusty scent to it. That night we went to get in the hot tub and the water jet when you turned it on was shooting outside of the jacuzzi. When the water was still it looked murky so we ended up not using it. That night my guests got into the bed and the sheets smelled so bad and had white stains all over them. Pictures were taken. We decided to check out the next day after lunch. I stayed here before and was very excited, but left very disappointed and felt like I wasted my money.
