Terrific for family get-togethers, the Farmhouse is updated for every modern need to make your stay cozy and memorable.
Originally built in 1865, this fully renovated farmhouse is located on a quiet country road. While you can enjoy the peace of the country, you are also centrally located making it only a short journey to enjoy the hiking, biking, antique shopping and delicious food and drink adventures that make Harbor Country famous. Enjoy time together in the wide open spaces - bonfires, board games or even a movie night - we have you covered!
On the first floor, the farmhouse offers laundry, a half bath, a large, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, and a fun-filled game room. The table in the game room is a convertible table! You can:
- Play poker on the felt side of the top cover
- Lift the top off and below is a bumper pool table! Perfect for a smaller room.
- Leave the top on to play board games, or work remotely
The closet is full of board games for all ages.
The main closet in the dining room houses beach towels for a trip to one of our beaches. Cushions for the outdoor furniture are in the closets on the 2nd floor (for upstairs deck) or game room (for front porch).
The bedrooms are all on the second floor along with two full baths. The primary bath includes a tub and shower. The second bathroom is centrally located off the hallway between the bedrooms.
Extra bedding and sheets are available in the closets of each room.
The large primary bedroom has a queen bed and a set of twin beds as well as an ensuite bathroom. French doors lead to a deck perfect for sipping wine in the evening while watching the sun set. The pack-and-play is located in this closet along with the cushions for the outdoor chairs found on the deck.
The second bedroom has two queen beds. We call this the "Grandparent Room" because Amy's Great Grandparents' original portraits are hanging over the beds.
The third and fourth bedrooms are adjoined. We think this is a great family combination room - one room has a full bed and the other has a trundle that pops up to make a king size bed.
If you find we are missing something that would make your stay better, please reach out! We really want to earn your five-star rating!
You will have the entire house, the immediate outdoor areas including a bonfire ring, decks, and adjacent greenspace.
