About this property
Mountain Oasis: Modern Plantation Home
ua Hua Hale, a beautiful 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom plantation home that sits on a half an acre of lush landscaping and fruit trees. Its name, derived from the Hawaiian word for "home that bears good fruit," reflects the abundance of fruit trees such as oranges, avocados, apple bananas, mac nuts, lychees, and Kona coffee on the property – all for you to enjoy when in season.Inside the home, you'll find a classic 1950's plantation floor plan with modern upgrades.
The space
Escape to paradise at Hua Hua Hale, a stunning half acre property in Kona's countryside. Wake up to breathtaking sunrises while sipping on freshly brewed Kona coffee on one of two beautiful decks or relax in the hammock and enjoy the Hawaiian breeze. Explore antique shops and lunch trucks in the nearby town of Kainaliu, or book a tour at Greenwell Farms to learn about Kona's original coffee farming community. Enjoy hiking and swimming at Napo'opo'o trails, or snorkel at locals' favorite spot, 2 Step, just minutes away. Return to indulge in a Lomi Lomi massage at Mamalahoa Hot Tubs & Massage, or enjoy local mom and pop restaurants and historical coffee farms. Book now for an unforgettable Hawaiian experience.
Guest access
The owner's studio entrance is not accessible to guests, and there is one designated parking stall in the carport for guest use on left hand side. If there is a second car, it should be parked directly behind the first car to avoid blocking the driveway. The maximum number of cars allowed for guests is 2. Thank you for understanding and following these guidelines.
Our home is new to VRBO, so I have included some photos of our reviews over the last 2 years on another booking platform so you can see our reputation.
The washer and dryer are located by walking through the carport and turning left at the rear of the house. Guests are asked to start a load of towels and strip the beds of dirty linens. If there are dirty dishes, guests should start the dishwasher if necessary on an express wash setting. To allow for airflow in humid weather, it is important to always leave the windows cracked. Additionally, guests should remove their shoes before entering the home, as it is customary in Hawaii. Thank you (Mahalos).
