Loved it a quiet great stay. Great location in town but felt like we were in the country with all the wildlife around us. If we are back in the area would love to stay again . Lavern and Paul
This cabin was the perfect size for my husband and me. We did not spend a lot of time in the cabin due to our daughter's wedding, but it had all that we needed. The cabin was clean, cozy, and inviting.
Very relaxing time! The cabin was well stocked with what we needed. It was comfortable and easy to base out of the cabin in order to do what we wanted to do. Thanks!!
Clean, private, the bedroom is really big, bathroom is nice, and we loved cooking in the kitchen. One of the nicest places I have stayed in a long time, and definitely for the best price. Definitely check out "Fort Phil Kearny" nearby. That and heading up the Bighorn Mountains were the highlights of the trip.
It wax clean, beautifully set in the trees with a creek running through the back yard. The cabin was just perfect for 2 people. The bathroom was clean, and roomy. The bedroom was nice and big. The bed was amazing
My husband and I needed a much deserved weekend getaway and chose this quaint log cabin. It was one of the cleanest places we have ever rented, and having a king sized comfortable bed was important. It reminded us both of happy childhood memories spent in cabins in the woods of where we had grown up. We plan to visit this adorable cabin again. The owner, Anne, was a delight to work with, too. Story is a story book town at the foot of the Big Horns. Thank you!

Quaint cabin in story. It was very cozy with a wood stove but spaceous at the same time. The bedroom had lots of extra room for all our baby’s toys etc. The screened in porch was very peaceful and we saw plenty of deer and turkeys in the morning while having coffee out there. The Wagon Box restaurant in town was amazaing and the south piney creek trail was very close and a fun hike. With a short drive to Sheridan for other activities this place had it all. We will definitely be back in the future.
Brought my 87 yr old mom back to see family in Sheridan.as soon as we got to the Cabin we were thrilled! Cozy comfortable and cool !
Hope to be coming back with my husband next year and booking this charming cabin .
Clean , comfortable and awesome communication!
Arrived to a clean, gorgeous cabin in wooded Story WY-- a very beautiful setting on a couple of treed acres. Great 1938 cabin, fully updated with a super bathroom, shower, and a comfy king bed in a private, separate bedroom. Screened porch (original to the log cabin) made a great spot for breakfasts and chillin' in the evenings. Anne left us a lot of useful suggestions about things to see and do in the general area, which includes Big Horn, many historical sites, the Brinton Museum, and other attractions.! Perfect wi-fi, great privacy!
We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and found the property to be a wonderful place to stay.
The cabin is very cozy, but that word "cozy" almost makes the cabin sound smaller than it actually feels. We had plenty of room and it seems that we would have still been comfortable if we would have had a couple of grand children with us. (Hopefully we will do that some day!)
The screened in porch is a great place to relax and watch the wildlife stroll by.
The living room and kitchen area seem to be the most rustic spot in the cabin, but it has beautiful hardwood floors.
It looks like the bathroom has recently been remodeled and everything in it was sparkling clean.
Speaking of cleanliness, everything in the cabin was sparkling clean.
Anne was a great hostess, and we want to thank her for allowing us to stay in this great cabin!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Thanks Again Anne,
