About this property

Super clean stilt house on White River between Mt.View and Batesville Arkansas

The river house is located in the Yorktown subdivision on the White River. Front porch river views and private boat launch next door. It’s a very secluded and private, small, gated community just between Mountain View and Batesville. My favorite thing about the cabin is laying on the full size swing bed and having a view of the river and the mountains. Arkansas at her finest! I also like to walk down to the water and fish off the bank. In the summer when the river is lower and slower paddle boarding can’t be beat. You also will love the cabin if you like any of these things: lounging, fishing, spending time with loved ones, grilling/chilling outside, birdwatching, reading, sleeping, relaxing, stargazing, watching movies on a soft, comfortable couch, working off site with great wifi. Everything is nice and brand new.
30 minute drive to Mountain View and 25 minute drive to Batesville.

Stone County is DRY. The closest liquor store is about 55 minutes away.

Small pets and kids are welcome but the cabin is not baby proof. The two bunk beds are great for kids and the loft is a cool hide out and has a full bed. Would not recommend bunks or the loft for adults.

Small kennel, doggie towels and small dog bowls provided by request. I could make a large pet exception, just reach out and we can work it out. Outdoor dogs are not a problem.

Help yourself to a paddle board or two kayaks but bring your own life jackets and fishing poles. Let me know if I can help answer questions! Would love to have you!

Locust Grove AR Cabin

Wonderful weekend staying in this cabin on the White River! Cozy and just right for 2 couples. Crystal was very responsive! Nice to have plenty of large towels and cloths. Cabin was stocked with anything needed. Would recommend to anyone!

July 4th Getaway

This property was just what we were looking for. The host was very pleasant and even left a little welcome basket. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and swinging in the daybed. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need to feel at home. It was very clean and the decor was lovely. When we are looking for another getaway we will definitely book this property again.

We love the house it is so nice and clean. It’s like a home away from home. The back porch is so comfortable, we could have just stayed there all the time. Family getaway.

We met our kids and grandkids here for a little 3 day getaway. The place is beautiful very clean. And well supplied with anything you might need. Beautiful deck over looking the river. And Crystal was a great host.

A getaway from the dorm room

This was a perfect hidden gem! The amenities, the location, the property, the river access, the cleanliness, the communication with the host, everything was top notch! Home is beautiful and comfortable! Our college boy enjoyed getting away from campus for a couple of days and loved having a little feel like home get away.

We are new to the short term rental market. This is our family cabin that we wanted to share with others who need a peaceful escape.

Why they chose this property

We love the location of the cabin. The gated community offers a private and safe environment. In between Batesville and Mountain View. Perfect for attending Lyon College events or making the 30 minute scenic drive to Mountain View.

What makes this property unique

Views of the White River and mountains on all sides makes for a perfect hideway. Not to mention the private boat launch and access to the water from the front yard. Our dogs and kids love to play in the water, even when the water is cold. Kayaks and paddle board are included, but bring your own life jackets.
