About this property

Peaceful 3-bedroom cabin on a serene, secluded lake with kayaks and a canoe

Escape to our tranquil 1+ acre lakeside retreat surrounded by trees and 220 feet of private shoreline to the sparkling waters of Moon Lake, where serenity and adventure await. Our charming, recently renovated 3-bedroom cabin offers modern comfort, promising a rejuvenating escape for families, friends, or couples seeking solace in nature's embrace. This house boasts a massive deck overlooking Moon Lake, offering views of spectacular sunsets. A staircase leads down to the shoreline, only 30 feet from the house, which has a firepit area, space for yard games, and dock for access to fishing and swimming. Moon Lake is a clean, clear lake with GREAT fishing.

Step inside to discover a recently updated cabin, including a well-stocked kitchen with all new stainless-steel appliances and a large custom live-edge table, sure to seat your whole group. Need some downtime? The living room offers two sofas, perfect for hanging out, movie nights, or competitive game nights. Also on the main floor, you’ll find two bathrooms – one ½ bath and one full. Next to the half bath is the queen bedroom. Upstairs you’ll find a spacious king bedroom, with plenty of room to use the provided pack-n-play or twin air mattress. Across the hall is the third bedroom containing two twin beds. Each of the three rooms are furnished with a dresser and nightstand for convenience.

This is our family cabin we regularly use, so you will find it well equipped with a coffee maker, hand mixer, toaster, pans, dinnerware and silverware, basic condiments and spices, washer and dryer, board games, yard games, kayaks (4), a paddle board, a canoe, variety of life jackets sizes (kids-adults), a few fishing poles, propane grill, WIFI, towels, bedding, etc.
We have a great relationship with our neighbors and want to maintain that, so please be considerate. GROUPS THAT WANT TO ONLY COME TO PARTY, please search for another property.

Brandon is a small town one mile away and will meet all your basic needs with groceries, gas, and bait. Explore Alexandria, 13 miles away, a charming small town filled with great antique shops, boutiques, museums, a delicious bakery, a Walmart, and a large assortment of restaurants. From either Brandon or Alexandria, you can hop on the Central Lakes bike trail, which spans 55 paved miles from Fergus Falls to Osakis.

If you’re looking for peace and relaxation, book your stay at Moon Lake! Venture outdoors where kayaks, a paddle board and a canoe await your exploration of the calm, glassy waters. Spend sun-kissed afternoons paddling along the shoreline or casting a line in search of the day's catch, cool off with a refreshing swim in the lake, or simply unwind on the sun-drenched shores with a good book in hand. End the day by gathering around the fire pit as twilight falls, swapping stories beneath a canopy of stars.

Perfect Weekend

Great place to stay with our kids for a short weekend vacation! Kids loved fishing off the dock, having a campfire and enjoying the host provided s’mores! Very quiet and private area, small lake with little to no boat traffic and you could enjoy the sites and sounds; bonus was watching the pair of loons on the lake all weekend! Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchenware, misc supplies, and games!
