About this property
Downtown Annapolis, steps from Main Street, City Dock, and Naval Academy - Apt 4
This apartment is centrally located and on one of the loveliest streets in Historic Downtown Annapolis. You will be steps from Main Street, City Dock, and the Naval Academy. Acton Cove Park and access to Spa Creek are at the bottom of the street. You can absolutely walk to everything from the apartment. It is an ideal location for reunions, weekend getaways, Naval Academy events, parents weekends, boat shows, and much more.
The home was built in 1900 and is divided into four beautiful apartments, all available to rent. This renovated third-floor 600 sq-ft one-bedroom apartment is ideal for two adults (the space is not ideal for young children as the apartment is not child-proof). The apartment has a private entrance, high-speed wifi, smart TV, a Queen bed, a Queen pullout sofa, kitchen, dining area, living area, and full bath with a glass enclosed shower. The bedroom is small but the living area is spacious and bright. Wipes or tampons cannot be disposed of in the toilets; it will clog the old pipes and will require a plumber. Please understand that you will be responsible for the costs associated with any damages.
The apartment is located on the third floor of the home, up two full flights of stairs. The second flight of stairs is approximately 2 feet wide. If this is a hindrance for you, please consider one of our other available apartments. The apartment has window AC units and radiant heat. The apartment is in a historic home so noise can travel a bit more easily, please be sure to be respectful of other guests who may occupy the other apartments.
A note to guests 6’4” or taller, the bedroom and entryway ceilings in the apartment are lower than normal (6 feet height entryway and opens up to 7 feet ceiling once you are in the unit). We want to be transparent for anyone booking.
Guests have access to the shared front porch. The front door and interior hallways are accessible by all four apartments. You will be staying in someone's home, please treat it with care and respect. Quiet hours are 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Due to the historic nature of the home, there is no smoking, pets, parties or events allowed anywhere on the premises. Please no commercial photography.
There is no overnight parking at the home, guests may park at one of the city garages (the Noah Hillman Garage is 0.2 miles and Gott’s Court Garage is 0.4 miles from the apartment) or paid street parking (based on availability). Free shuttles via the Circulator Trolley runs every 15 minutes and have drop-off at City Dock and Main Street. The Watermark Annapolis Water Taxi stop is at the bottom of our street to explore Annapolis by boat. Check out their website for the current schedule and route guide. They do not run in the winter.
We look forward to welcoming you as our guests. Come see all Annapolis has to offer year round!
