Last Getaway of the Summer
Upon arrival, we were greeted to a welcoming wave and smile by Kyle the property manager. Kyle was wonderful to work with over the phone and took care of booking issues promptly. We truly enjoyed our stay in Holderness. The unit itself was very cute and adequate for our stay. However, we would like to have had some coffee on hand in the kitchen and perhaps some glass microwavable containers to use during our stay. The kitchen is very minimally stocked as far as cooking is concerned (minimal cooking utensils, and pots & pans). If you want a bottle of wine, remember to pack a corkscrew. In addition, you must bring your own bedsheets and towels (something we have never had to do at a vacation rental). That said, this is disclosed in advance and would not deter us from staying here again in the future. The lake is beautiful and you have free access to their Kayaks and Canoes; and you are very near the Science and Nature Center as well as Kirkwood Gardens. It's also a very short drive to Meredith and Moutlonborough. Overall, a really nice weekend stay at the Boulders. Thank you!
