The apartment is situated exclusively on the first floor of the house.

No. Our property is a two-family house with distinct units. Each apartment has its own separate entrance, ensuring privacy. While the backyard is shared, you won't have to share any interior spaces.

5. Are dogs allowed on the beach?
While you may regularly see dogs on the sandbar during low tide, dogs are not permitted on the beach.

6. Why are the service fees so high?
VRBO directly charges the service fees you see, and they do not go to the homeowner.

7. Why do I have to sign a separate rental agreement?
VRBO aims to protect both hosts and guests, but they have no legal power to protect either.

Quaint Historic Ocean View

Property manager was very attentive to our needs and replied to all msgs in a very timely fashion. There were a couple things that needed tending to when we arrived and he took care of it immediately. Despite having parking on the street, it was never an issue and often got the spot that was right next to the house. The beach was directly across the street and was clean with friendly neighbors! Although there is a sign stating no dogs or animals allowed on the beach, there were many dogs on the beach but all owners were very attentive. Super cute neighborhood!

Couldn't Have Been More Perfect

The water just steps from the front door was beautiful and enticing. Being able to carry our kayak & SUP just across the street for some time on the water was a dream. The entire neighborhood was quiet and everyone was friendly. But it's not just the location. The apartment itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and a joy to visit. I actually did nap on the sleeping porch one day! Spent too much time with coffee in the front porch enjoying the view. Best bed in a VRBO we ever slept in. And, finally, we brought our dog. The convenience of the grassy back yard made her evening needs easy to accommodate. We plan on returning.

Great location

The host Robert was incredible with communicating and booking. The house location can’t be beat, right on the water in a great community across from a very nice private community beach. The house was very clean and well thought out and has all the kitchen gadgets and utensils we would want. There is a very nice grill in the shared backyard but we spent most of our time on the front sun porch staring at the water. We had to work while we were there and found the WiFi to be much better than most. We had no problem doing multiple zoom calls at once. There was another couple staying in the apartment above us but we didn’t hear them at all and both units are completely separate and private. I highly recommend it was a great experience.

Absolutely lovely!

Robert had everything covered for us. From the basics (detergent/paper towels) to the special details (snacks and wine upon arrival). The apartment had everything one could need, instructions and communication was clear, and the location was perfect for our needs. Thank you for a great week!

Point Beach Perfection

We spent a wonderful 25 days steps away from Point Beach. It was everything we needed this summer. Cool breeze at night, wonderful residents, beautiful sunsets. My wife and I are both lawyers, we were able to work each day without any problems. After work we would sit outside and watch the sunsets. The beds are ridiculously comfortable (as are the pillows). We were there during Hurricane Isaiahs and lost power for a few days but the cool breeze helped. The owner Robert was there quickly if there were any issues. We look forward to next summer.

Great house with lots of space and friendly hosts!

Rob and Yolanda were incredibly kind and available throughout my entire stay. When we arrived there was a birthday balloon and welcome basket as well as very easy instructions regarding the house. The house has the basics necessary for a comfortable vacation and is a 10 minute walk from a couple nice beaches (although we were asked to leave one due to it being private). Would recommend and/or stay again!

This includes restaurants, bars, cafes, small shops, and an arts center which features live music, art shows, and salsa and tango lessons. There are also several yoga studios and fitness centers, and miles of shopping including Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Macy's, Best Buy, and Target on U.S. Route 1. New Haven, the home of Yale University and College Street Music Hall is only a 20-minute drive away and features fine dining, shopping, museums, theaters, and arts and cultural activities.

What makes this property unique

In addition, looking out at the window at Long Island Sound and beach access, what we love about this space is the access we have to so many different worlds. We can enjoy the comfort of our home or we can drive 10 minutes to the Metro-North train station and be in New York City in 90 minutes. We can spend the day fishing, kayaking, or sailing in the summer and be at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun casinos for dinner and world-class concerts in 90 minutes. Milford, CT is the perfect location to do all the things you enjoy.
