SPECIAL OFFER - in the Heart of ancient Rome

Very nice studio apartment, located in the historical centre of Rome. In a quite street, where you can still find old Italian artisans at works. Safe and well connected with the most important sites of interest.
The studio is suitable for a couple but a very confortable double sofa bed is available for two children.
Few minutes walking from Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori, ten minutes walking from the Vatican . A short walk to the Archeological Area & Coloseum.
Family run, with years of experience.
2nd floor of an elegant and residential ancient building, with decorated wood ceiling, fully equipped kitchen corner (mini fridge, electric kettle ,microwave, electric fires), table and chairs, double bed - queen size -, double sofa bed, flat tv, wireless connection. Although the apartment is on a high floor (second / third USA with elevator) and overlooking on a quite and small pedestrian street, the windows are all new and feature anti-noise glasses.
Bathroom with very large and comfortable shower. hair dryer available. Iron and iron board. Air conditioned/heating. WiFi free and fast connection. Sleeps 4, though we suggest they should be close friends or family.
The laudromat is one minute walking.Well connected with the public transport.
Baby cot, available on request.
Careful cleaning and sanitation. Bed linen and towels are provided by a professional laundry. Washed at high temperature and sanitized.
Hand sanitizer, disinfectant for surfaces available to our guests.

Rome accommodation tax ( euro 6 guest/night- adult>10 , first 10 days) is not included in the price. They should be paid in cash at the check-in.

This apartment has been approved and licensed by the Official Tourist Board of Rome to assure high quality service and reliability.

Rome re visited

My adult daughter and I spent some time in Italy and stayed 4 nights in Rome as she had never previously visited the city. We found our accommodation was situated in a very convenient area and was incredibly secure. We walked everywhere and found many places for meals and coffee that were not on the usual tourist trail. Thank goodness!! We enjoyed a couple of meals in the restaurant right next door. Very handy. The studio is fine for 2 people, but would be somewhat "cosy" for more. Many thank to Olivia, she was most helpful.

Perfect

Olivia went above and beyond to point us to less popular things to do on a very busy weekend. The unit contains all that you need and the location is quiet. Yet steps away are restaurants, groceries, pharmacy and shopping. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location!

This flat is in a fantastic location. We stayed for a quick 3 day visit to Rome and were able to walk to everything. The communication with host is very clear and accomodating.

Great location, great apartment

We loved Olivia’s apartment which was just what we needed after a day of wondering around Rome. A great location to get to all the popular tourist spots, and anything else you want to see. There is so much to see and enjoy from just stepping out of the building. The local alley ways are full of interesting food places and little stores. A relaxing hubbub of daily life goes on around you during the day and yet amazingly quiet at night after closing time. We would definitely stay here again.

We started our trip with four nights in Rome. The host Olivia was very helpful with all our questions. The location was perfect being close to most of the sites we wanted to see but not too crowded.

Rome in 3 Days

The location of this unit was perfect for a quick tour of Rome. This was our first visit to Rome and we could walk to all the major tourist sites from this address. It is located in a busy area, right next to a good restaurant, and 25 M from a taxi stop. The unit was clean, quiet, spacious, and easy to find. We didn't meet the host but didn't need to. We communicated via Whats app and found the host quick to respond and the directions to access the room were clear and easy to follow. We had a great stay and highly recommend this unit.

Perfect & charming Rome apartment

We loved our stay! The location is amazing, apartment is clean, spacious and well appointed and Olivia is an excellent host who also helped us with airport transportation. Check-in was a breeze. Quiet in the evening. The charm of the historic building added to our enjoyment. 10/10 recommend. Cafe Novocentro a few minutes walk is excellent any time of day.

Amazing location in Rome

Olivia was an amazing and gracious host. She was easy to reach and very responsive. Her appartment extremely clean and was amazingly well located. We didnt need to a take bus or metro. We were able to walk to all major attractions. 5 min to piazza Navona and Pantheon..15 min to Castel Sant Angelo..and 30 min to Vatican and Colosseum. There was so much to see along the way that you didnt even feel the longer walks. Travelled with my husband and children 11 and 13 and they did not complain once. The appartment was in walking distance of many restaurants. Would definitely come back to stay at Olivia's next time we are in Rome!

Great studio in historic district

Viva Roma!

We absolutely enjoyed our 5 nights at Olivia's apartment in the heart of ancient Rome. The accommodation was exactly as stated. The location was superb. We were able to walk everywhere. The restaurant below the apartment, Al Braciere, was so convenient and the pastas and pizzas were delicious. There's a Pam groceria at the corner and the Ristocaffe, 3 minute's walk is the place to go for cappuccino and croissants. There's lots of lively action in the area and plenty of choices for dining. Olivia was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Thank you for being an excellent host.

Lovely clean apartment close to all of the sights of Rome, easy entry via key safe, steps to property as it’s on upper floor but there is a lift for most of the way. Nice large shower, wc and bidet available. Clean fresh towels and all you need for a short stay in the beautiful city. Thanks to the host who was easily contactable and friendly.

Location is excellent

Location is excellent. Studio is very small but sufficient. It was very cold in the studio since the mini split Didn't work. We were provided a small heater That didn't help much since The ceilings are very high. Barhroom equipment needed: shelf for soap and shampoo in shower stall, hooks for towels, new comfortable shower mat. Kitchen equipment minimal. Lovely restaurant at street level. Olivia responded quickly. We were freezing cold for 4 days so I had hoped she would discount or waive the additional fees. We paid in full.

A fantastic location in Rome

We loved our stay in Olivia’s apartment. It truly is in the heart of things. The bed is comfortable, the shower is great, and the small kitchenette was perfect for coffee in the morning and the leftovers we kept bringing back. We were very happy here. The location is surrounded by narrow curvy streets filled with restaurants and shops. We ate twice at the lovely little restaurant which is literally located at the front door to the apartment building. We walked everywhere: 15 minutes to the Vatican, 7 minutes to the Parthenon, 20 minutes to the Forum. And for farther stops the bus is very close. We stayed in early November and never needed heat or air conditioning. The windows are large and open onto a cobblestone alley. The ceilings are tall making the small place seem larger. Olivia was always helpful and responded quickly to all of my questions. She left clear and detailed directions which really helped as this was our first stay in Rome. For the two of us, it was a perfect spot. We would happily return and stay again.

Wonderful stay

The Residenza Sansoni, is a delightful dwelling in Rome, completely refurbished belonged to a well-known cardinal, hundred years ago. My husbund heritates it from his family and after yers of long rentals, we decide to open our house to turists who likes to loose himself/herself in the ancient Rome atmosphere.
We grew up in Rome, we know the secret and authentic places of this city. We will guide you to discovery it but.... be careful, you will be definitively fascinated!

We spend most our free time traveling around the world! Knowing people and discover countries is the best way to increase your knowledge.

Why they chose this property

This apartment belongs to my husband family since the first years of 1900.
My husband' grandPa, Nonno Pompeo, bought this property because he felt in love with this ancient area.
We always thank him! It is fantastic to have such a wonderful apartment in the heart of Rome.

What makes this property unique

Residenza Sansoni is located close to Piazza Navona, Archeological area and Coloseum, in the historic center of Rome, west of the Pantheon. The Piazza Navona area is full of many outdoor cafes, restaurants and night clubs in the neighbourhood .
Piazza Campo Dei Fiori is very close to Residenza Sansoni. This Piazza become a popular spot for people to hang out to admire wonderful Renaissance and Baroque buildings, street artists, musicians and poets.
By day Campo de' Fiori is dominated by a world famous outdoor food market. By late afternoon a large team of street cleaners have removed any trace of the market and it becomes the lazy hangout for those having a coffee or aperitivo in one of the many outdoor bars lining the piazza. In the summer people spill out of the bars into the piazza and it has a party like atmosphere. The area always has a vibrant feel and is home to some of the best restaurants in town.
