Visiting my friends in the area, I found this gem nearby. This cottage is at the end of a barn, home, and garage half-circle that is down a secluded street. Cherri provided me with all the information needed and quickly responded to any of my questions. With that info, I let myself into a cozy studio cottage with a welcome area.
The kitchen was nice. No stove, but the supplied hot plate is more than enough for cooking on vacation, lol. The bed was a comfortable memory foam mattress and pillows with a 55-65" TV on the opposing wall. My favorite part of the bathroom was the shower. It was about 60" made of stone and tile. Definitely getting one for my home.
To be honest, I never wanted to stay at a rental that was on the owner's property. I'm afraid I would feel like I'm invading their space. Because of Cherri's place, and now knowing what to look for, I'm pretty confident that won't happen. :)
P.S. The only thing I didn't like was not having time to take advantage of the backyard amenities. This will be resolved the next time I visit the area. :)
