Guys ski weekend
Great location for our guys ski weekend. A short walk to the small downtown shops. Minutes away from restaurants and 15-20 minutes to Sugarloaf. The house was perfect for what we needed.

Comfy home in downtown Kingfield
The property was exactly as listed and Mark was wonderful with any questions we had leading up to our trip and was VERY responsive when we had a small issue upon arrival. What a nice person and easygoing owner! We were there over the holidays and had our adult kids with us. Plenty of hot water for warming up after a day of skiing. The kitchen was fully equipped — as was the entire house, so it made it very easy to bake and make meals. It was a cozy, relaxing place to spend our time with lots of games, puzzles and movies to watch on TV. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Quiet retreat for nature lovers
Cute old house in a friendly neighborhood. It could use a deep cleaning and better lighting, though. Mattresses were either very firm or soft memory foam, which was not to our liking. There were no instructions for trash, checkout procedures, etc. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Sweet spot in Kingfield
The house has a well equipped kitchen. The living area is cozy. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is large, could use some TLC but was not a problem.

Renting in Kingfield was fantastic, close to the mountain with easy access to the cute town and amenities. The house was spacious and we loved cooking in the open kitchen.

Great location
The location is the quietest (with regard to big trucks) of several places we have stayed in Kingfield. And is within walking distance to the central town amenities, ie, restaurants, stores, galleries, post office, bank, library, Stanley Museum, etc.

Charming and comfortable farm house!
This house was so beautiful I didn't want to leave! I grew up on farms, and this house had quite the nostalgic feel for me. Wood floors, exposed beams, large windows, and an incredible kitchen, the house had everything we needed and more! The wrap around porch provided a great spot to hang out with my dogs while they ate their meals, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with lots of friendly neighbors. Although it was only my husband and myself with our dogs- the house has plenty of room for a larger family/group of friends. We are very much looking forward to renting again next year for Kingfield Days!

Perfect dog-friendly vacation for Sugarloaf skiing!
Our big family stayed in this house for a week to ski at Sugarloaf. The house was clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything to cook full meals for the whole family, the living room had Wii for the kids and Netflix for movie nights :). The owner was very responsive (when we needed the driveway to be plowed due to very heavy snow). All in all, our stay was very pleasant! Thanks!

Great location but too cold for a repeat visit
Organization and communication with owner outstanding. Simple to access home. Layout was great. Beds awesome! Kitchen exceeded our needs. Wished we had been told to bring indoor Shoes. Floors were freezing! Overal house reached a plus 63 F due to power outage. Next morning started with a preset temp of 60F in the am. Next time we would certainly utilize mobile heaters sooner.

Good Ski House
The house worked perfectly for our weekend of skiing. Cozy and quiet time with the family was good. Always great to be able to bring along the pup too. The house was a little chilly, but this is due to the construction in the barn, and is tolerable. There’s no cable, but you can get by without it.

It was a very pleasant get away.
Being a X-mas Holiday vacation, a holiday theme decor would have been appreciated; otherwise very comfortable and pleasant.

Had a great weekend. Clean place, comfortable beds, nice roomy living room and kitchen. About 10 minutes to Tufulios, 20 to Sugarloaf. Would definitely return.

We stayed at the house because it was close to where we needed to go for white water rafting. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was great.

Cozy comfy easy
Stayed here for some spring skiing at nearby sugarloaf mountain. Loved the well stocked kitchen with plenty of room to make real meals. Plenty of room for a family of five. Only suggestion would be some sort of “welcome binder” with specifics on such things as garbage/recycling, local eateries, etc. overall though we would recommend to others and if we decide to visit Sugarloaf again we will plan to stay again.

Warm and Cozy Farmhouse
We had the pleasure of staying in the Kingfield farmhouse this March with our two college aged children and our dog. We found the home to be clean, inviting, and the perfect size for our family. Despite other comments about the house being cold, we did not have any issues with the temp of the rooms. We loved the window seat in the TV room! The home was well stocked with everything you would need for a family getaway. We all enjoyed playing the board games, the Wii, and touring the Stanley Museum just down the street. The location of the home to town was very convenient, as it was truly just a short walk to restaurants and shops. We skied Sugarloaf which was about a 20 minute drive, and also did some winter hiking on one of the river side trails. Being able to bring our dog along was a huge plus. The owners were extremely helpful and were always quick to respond, as we had a few glitches with the Homeaway app. We would highly recommend this home to anyone planning to visit the Sugarloaf area.

Great location for Sugarloaf!
My friends, dog, and I had a blast staying at the Farm House. Annie's is nearby and easy to get cheap good food(although the people who work there were pretty rude each time?). We enjoyed the board games and setup for hanging out in the night. And the short trip to and from Sugarloaf gave us just the right amount of time to plan a fake injury and prank our friend who didn't go skiing. Great time, excellent accommodation. Thank you!

Great house with all the comforts of home
We had a great time at this house. The location is convenient to Sugarloaf (our main purpose for the trip was to ski), but non-skiers enjoyed the rail trail along the river. The house is super comfortable with lots of space - we very comfortably slept 5. Cooking was great - the kitchen has lots of space and everything you need. The skiing was much better the day of our check-out, and the hosts graciously allowed us to check out later so we could ski and come back to the house to grab our bags before leaving town. This was much appreciated!!
