Each of the 1,317 sf Duchamp Townhouses have 2-beds (King and Queen), 2.5-baths (en-suite and downstairs) with office lofts, and 65”, 4K, TVs.

General
This is one of four, furnished, 2 bed x 2 ½ bath plus office loft townhouses in Tempe Arizona. You can find all of them on Airbnb. The airconditioned area is 1,317 sf. Each garage door is painted a different color (blue, red, yellow and green) because, although each floor plan is exactly the same, the furnishings are very different. The exception is beds and TV’s. Each townhouse has a king and queen bed with en-suite bathrooms. The living room and each bedroom has a new 65” 4k, Smart TV with hi speed WiFi. Be sure to bring all your streaming service log-in info as cable subscriptions are not included. Each office loft has a sofa-bed.

Construction
At this writing, everything is new. Construction was completed in 2024. The townhouses are two stories without elevators. The roof and exterior walls are clad in rusted and galvanized, corrugated steel. The interiors are flat, white, drywall. The downstairs floors are exposed concrete. The upstairs floors are vinyl plank.

Garages
Each unit comes with a private, 552 sf, 2-car garage with washer, dryer and two electric or pedal bicycles.

Courtyards
The privacy of the 480 sf patios is protected by 8’ tall steel walls and locked, commercial, hollow metal doors.

Kitchen
You do not have to be vegan to rent a Duchamp Townhouse, but you will not find butter and bacon in the fridge. What you will find (one time only when you move in) is the following stuff from our two favorite gourmet groceries, Costco and Trader Joes: 3 kinds of fresh fruit, spinach, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, avocados, potatoes, onions, brown rice, blue corn chips, olives, olive oil, salsa, peanut butter, balsamic vinegar, tea, coffee, oat milk, sparkling apple cider and bottled water. Also, dark chocolate bars, dark chocolate bark and dark chocolate covered raisins. Guests are requested to refrain from storing or consuming milk chocolate on site.

Guests will have full access to their unit, private garage, and private courtyard.

Swimming
There is no pool on the property, but the owner has a five-plex with a very private pool a 4-minute walk away you can use. Message us for details.

Owner will meet you upon arrival with all the necessities you will need for your stay, including keys and tour of the space if you like.

Location
The Duchamp Townhouses are a 12 minute drive to Sky Harbor Airport, 6 minutes by bike to Tempe St Lukes Hospital, 6 minutes by bike to Arizona State University, 9 minutes by bike to Wholefoods, and 11 minutes by bike to Trader Joes or Tempe Beach Park.

Art History
The townhouses are named after the conceptual artist Marcel Duchamp (1877-1968) often referred to as the most influential artist of the 20th century. (The most famous being Picasso.) Each unit is well stocked with art history books, often dog-eared and highlighted. There are 4 separate townhouses available for rent. The Blue, Yellow and Green townhouses are 100% family friendly however the Red townhouse contains statues and Burning Man images with partial female nudity. Message us for more info.
