Enjoy this 300 acre all sports, very clean, natural spring fed lake. Take in beautiful views from a huge 2 tier deck overlooking the lake. Large fenced in yard with a fire pit for whole family to enjoy. Enjoy quiet evenings next to a cozy wood burning fireplace. All bedrooms can sleep 3 to 4 people with a large open kitchen and living room overlooking the lake. House has premium Satellite,55' big screen TV, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer and dryer, refrigerator and a full size GE range. Newer 4 burner propane grill. Great lake for FISHING, GOLF courses, NATURE parks, CASINOS, APPLE ORCHARDS, SNOWMOBILE trails and SKI RESORTS nearby. All linens and towels provided or bring your own. Once you have been here you will want to come back

Great family vacation
Our family had a very fun stay for the week. The weather was perfect so the chicken could be outside swimming and fishing instead of using their devices as the internet was a little hard to use. There was plenty of space inside and outside for relaxing and sleeping. I would recommend this cottage for a family getaway.

We enjoyed our stay on this lakefront home. The property was as advertised and pictured, a bit dated, but it kept us cool during the long stretch of hot days while we were there. There was a convenient dock for our fishing boat. The lake was fun to kayak and fish in.

Great Time
One of the Grandchildren did step on a nail just outside the storage shed: Thankfully, nothing serious. Our guys covered the nail with a small board. We had wonderful weather and appreciated the grill and the toys for some of the smaller children to enjoy. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Beautiful place
We spent a week there. It was beautiful and peaceful! Neighbors are friendly. Wi-Fi was in and out, which was alright. Nice to get away of the city life. Very relaxing! Good fishing too! We caught a lot of perch, bluegills, and some small mouth bass. Sandy beach and swim area was great for the littles. Would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful 4 day stay with golf buddies. Great layout with plenty of room in the kitchen and living room. Nice view and awesome fire pit. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful lakefront for family get together
Other than a few issues this house is perfect for spending time together. (The uneven floors and stairs resulted in a couple bad falls, and the wasps just outside the door resulted in a few people being stung.) Plenty of rooms, beds, couches, towels, dishes and supplies! We plan on gathering there again next year!

We had an awesome time with our family. The weather didn't cooperate but we were able to play lots of indoor and outdoor games. The house easily accommodated our large family. We plan to return next summer!

Overall, property worked great. The lake was nice and clean. Kids caught some fish and the beach was perfect for the kids. House is dated and is showing signs of age but we only needed it to sleep so no big deal. Highly recommend for families.

The 13 of us had a great time! The bedrooms were spacious,the central air was much appreciated,needed a few more forks,the pontoon was wonderful. The deck was large and partially shaded,ample parking. My kids and grandkids liked this place the best of all the places we have rented-so we will be back!!

Property has not been kept up. Exterior is dirty and has algae growing on it. Weeds all over the entrance. Interior was clean on the surface but mold around the tub and bathroom ceiling. Bath faucet was grimy and disgusting. Window screens and patio door screens had holes in them. Lights bulbs out. Non-function fire alarms. Window blinds were broken.

Wonderful week away
We stayed at the property with 7 adults and 8 kids. The house had plenty of space to accommodate us all comfortably. The front yard was large and perfect for games and lounging along with a nice amount of shade if we wanted to get out of the sun for a bit. The lake was nice for fishing and water sports. The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property - especially for a large group!!

Family getaway
Had a blast at the cabin, only concern was it was advertised as each room had queen and twin. But the twins in 3 rooms are just a mattress on the floor. Which was fine since we had lots of kids who didnt mind but if staying with more adults just a heads up. House was large enough for our group yard was perfect for us. Kids had fun on beach, and fishing. We brought our own kayaks and lake was perfect for that too. They also had a block party the weekend we were there which all the kids loved and we had a blast

Large house on a beautiful lake.
We have enjoyed staying here the last 2 summers. It’s a nice large house with a large back yard. The lake is beautiful and the neighbors on both sides were very friendly. We were happy to be able to bring our pets. The owner is quick to answer texts. We were happy to have more sand on the lakefront this year. That was great for the little ones. The Wi-Fi is very slow and the kids that had zoom meetings had to go to Starbucks so that was inconvenient. I hear they are getting better internet on the street so that should be helpful.

August Vacation
Overall we thought the property was great. Very spacious and a well equipped kitchen. However, the Direct TV did not work when we arrived and it took my nephew 2 days to reprogram the TV. The property manager Chuck punted to the owner, and the owner couldn't do anything about it from Illinois. It rained those 2 days so it was a drag not having TV. Chuck's suggestion that we "find other things to do" was not helpful (or particularly welcome).

Family Reunion
First impressions were not good as the exterior needed power washing and the decking/steps all around the house needs replacing. The inside was not much better. Only had AC for half a day and we stayed there 7 nights. When I talked to the host, who lives in Chicago, he didnt really care and told me we could open windows basically. An effort was made but we had to wait around for repairman who left and never returned. Found out from neighbor/old property manager that the owner knew it was an issue. Things falling apart inside the house. Ceilings hanging down 4 inches in several places. Mouse droppings in closets and air returns that were clogged. WIFI in your dreams! He has a data plan that was depleted for the month when we checked in. Who has a data plan for their home internet? Needless to say, wifi didnt work and the tv barely did because of reception i suppose. The heat really made the stay unpleasant though we made the most of it. If your going to rent your place out, simple upkeep goes along way. Owner is only trying to move renters in and out and put bandaids on things around the house. Recommend that you keep looking...this is not the house and definitely not the host you are looking for!

Family Gathering
Our large extended family stayed here for the second time. We first stayed in 2020 and again in 2023. Yard is great for the kids and spacious. Lots of water toys/floats are provided and the kids love jumping off the jump dock. Swimming is nice but becomes filled with seaweed at the end of the dock. We take out boat down to the swimming area at the north end and the kids love it, or father into the lake so you can't touch the seaweed. It's a fairly quiet lake for an all sports lake. Lots of room to spread out on the lake and still feel by yourself. House is spacious for sleeping, beds, the floor or extra mattresses provided in the closets. The house is nothing fancy but were here to spend time together so we don't need many amenities. Although the kitchen is lacking in silverware and cooking utensils, but we made it through. For the price of this house, it is great. It could definitely use a deep cleaning and some better shower heads but it is roomy enough to not be on top of each other. Lots of seating provided inside and outside. We unfortunately were subject to theft (some fishing items taken off our boat), but that obviously is no fault of Goran, just be sure to lock up your things as we, being on vacation, were much more laid back and were not considering that even an option. Overall, we always have had a great time and hope to return soon! We are hoping to be able to stay again.

Memories Made!
The cottage was very spacious and in the perfect location on the lake. We took both our small dogs, and the entire place had wood floors and a fenced in yard which was great. They explored the entire time! The owner was very receptive to any questions we had. We did rent a pontoon boat for the week not the owners. The lake is very clean and not busy at all. The beach area was perfect and clean. The Wi-Fi was not really strong which was fine. It made the kids play and not be on their phones the whole time. We took board games, badminton net,volleyballs, a float for the pond, and several beach towels. We planned all our meals and did a Walmart pick up in Hastings, which is only about 15 minutes away. The neighbors were very friendly. The kids fished and there was a bass tournament on the lake while we were there which they thought was really cool. We drove our boat to the deep End of the end of lake and went swimming everyday. We had a fire every night. Items I recommend you pack; beach towels,speaker, paper products, extra laundry detergent, sunscreen bug, spray, (the washer and dryer are great) any spices you will need, baggies, Things I wish the house had, Rubbermaid containers, and a cookie sheet. Other than that this is a great space…it’s a cottage, if you want luxury this is not the place. If you want to relax and be outdoors rent this property.

If you're looking to rent a cottage on a lake to do some boating, fishing, and water sports with your family and extended family & friends, Goran's place is perfect! It's on a beautiful all-sports lake, with a great view. The cottage, with its huge deck, has the perfect layout for hosting larger gatherings. The bedrooms are roomy, all with true queens, a couple had an additional single in the room, and there were mattresses that could be thrown if necessary. Additionally, there is a nice big living room with four couches and plenty of floor space for kids to throw a sleeping bag and watch movies at night. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. There were ample rags and towels in the bathroom. There was plenty of silverware and dinnerware for the occasion you don't want to use paper (cooking steaks). We were delighted to see the pantry, closets and shelves empty when we arrived. It made unpacking very easy. It's an older cottage and with that comes some wear and tear, but the HUGE plus side to that is that you can relax and not worry as much. There are no expensive lamps, priceless vases, or one-of-a-kind paintings for the kids to ruin at Goran's place. All-in-all Goran seems to understand what people are trying to do when they rent a cottage on a lake and has his set up such that it's very easy to make it work for you for a week or two while you have some fun on the lake.

Good Family Vacation (except for unsafe pontoon boat)
Many positives - Beautiful view of lake; great yard with shallow entry to water for our young grandchildren; nice size deck facing lake with two large tables for eating/playing games; nice fire pit close to lake; adequate deck chairs; Wonderful living - dining area; lots of seating in the living room; nice size table for our family meals; kitchen adequately stocked (except no measuring cups, bring your own kitchen supplies for dishwasher, scrubbie pads, etc, ice cube trays or buy bags of ice); adequate central air-conditioning (some rooms were not as cool so bring some fans for circulating the air); comfy mattresses. Chuck, the property manager, was very easy to work with and he lives only four houses away. Negative - Goran - THE PONTOON BOAT WAS INADEQUATE!!!! You are not able to see the boat ahead of time before deciding to rent it. This boat is not safe for families to ride in!!!!!!! In fact, I'm still upset about this. To pay $450 for three days for a boat that dies out on you (I needed to frequently squeeze the gas line bulb near the motor.); one of the side doors is not safely secured - the screws are missing so it's secured with a bungee cord. The other door next to the pier is ready to fall off. There are sharp edges of wood were the carpeting is ripped off. The carpeting is ripped up and bare in places - easy for people to trip on. The upholstery is ripped up. There is no overhead awning for protection from the sun. There was a wasp's nest under the driver's seat. AND THE LID COVERING BACK OF THE BOAT NEAR THE GAS CAP WAS NOT ATTACHED AT ALL!!!!!! WHEN MY HUSBAND WENT TO GRAB IT - NOT KNOWING IT WAS UN-SECURE - HE FELL BACKWARDS INTO THE LAKE PULLING A MUSCLE IN HIS BACK. We had owned a lake home for almost thirty years in Green Lake Wisconsin including a pontoon boat and other water vehicles. I would NEVER rent a boat in this condition especially without letting the renter know of it's condition and for the price charged!!!!!
