This three full bedroom, two full bath home with a finished basement and extra sleeping space is situated on a beautiful lot with 150 feet of lake frontage,
We have access to world class fishing, boating, skiing, and winter sports including snowmobiling, skiing, and skating. Full basement includes second full bathroom, complete laundry facilities,as well as a pull out couch/futon. Your rental includes use of kayaks, and canoes/ bicycles. We are steps from the Flambeau flowage, and our hospitable neighbors and lake resorts will make your vacation dreams come true.

Amazing!

Our family had a family reunion in Springstead, so this was a perfect place for us to stay. Our kids fished from the doc, swam, and floated on tubes in the lake. We biked a lot also. The deck is really nice and the screened in porch kept us from being eaten by mosquitoes! Amazing weekend!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Caught a lot of small pan fish, went for a hike and road the bikes that were provided. Would recommend the throw rug that is at the first side door be trimmed of it's fringes. It's a tripping hazard; I tripped twice on it.

Great stay

The cabin looks just like the photos. The spaces are large and it is very comfortable. Surrounded by shady trees and the dock on the lake is right in front, just a few steps away. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and baking. Everything works properly. The bikes are in perfect condition, we took a ride on the ATV trails which was great. We also went to the lake with the kayaks, super. Highly recommended.

Really nice place in a beautiful location

It’s a really nice house on a nice lake. It’s clean and nicely equipped. It’s also close to the Springstead launch on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Communication with Sara was easy with fast responses. We recommended the house to our fishing guide for his clients. I hope to stay here again.

Fall get-away

We had great get-away! The cabin was very comfortable and the weather was great the later part of the week. Nice driveway and adjoining trail for walking our dog.

Hummingbirds by the Lake!

The air is so clean and the lake is so peaceful. We enjoyed the hummingbirds at the feeder, all the bikes, boats and floaties. For rainy times there were dozens of games and puzzles and DVDs. All in all a successful family getaway!

Relaxing stay in Iron County

Had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin in Iron County. Host was very responsive to questions along the way. Enjoyed using water toys on the lake, which was calm and scenic. Also enjoyed the little beach which was within 10 minute drive. Thank you for sharing your cabin Sara!

Great Northwoods Getaway

Quiet and remote, only 45 minutes from Minocqua. The cottage had all the amenities one could ask for and we enjoyed time with the family, kids and grandkids. Grandson had a blast catching bluegill from the pier and we enjoyed the campfires in the fire pit and quiet nights playing games. Would recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all for a while. The nearby soringstead lodge has a fantastic Friday fish fry and the best brandy old fashions. Had elderly parents with us...would not recommend for those who may struggle with stairs as the walkway and steps to the pier can be challenging for those who may struggle with balance or stairs. All around a great stay.

Lakefront Paradise

This property has everything! So much to do on the lake and only so much time. We took advantage of the lake and all of the toys that were available for our use (canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle board, tubes, fishing poles, etc). The house is well equipped with everything you would imagine. Sara was very accommodating, prompt, and willing to address all of our questions and concerns. Craig really helped push this vacation to the next level and put smiles on the kids faces. Thanks to both of them to make this a truly unforgettable and wonderful experience.

Early June Vacation

Nice cabin, remote and relaxing. Beautiful lake. Mosquitoes were horrible and that was not the property owners fault. Be prepared. Will always remember that for our next vacation. We had mosquito spray and the things you set up that put out the smoke to keep them out of an area. It was not enough. We saw lots of fish by the pier. Local bars were very helpful with recommendations and fishing tips.

It was a beautiful home and property on a lake!

Everything was fantastic! My husband has a hard time sleeping on beds because of his size and bad back. The beds were great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Great living room for all 8 of us. Spent time on the open deck. Used the grill and was fine. There was many things available that that we didn’t use. Love the brand new stove and brand new composite deck! The kayaks were easy to use. Nice bedrooms, lots of room, nice calm lake and the owner was on the spot immediately when we had questions and needed some help. However the person that was supposed to help in the area never called me back. So I called the owner and was instantly available in every case! We couldn’t have been happier in any case! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Nice relaxing vacation

The house was great for us. We spent most of our time on the water fishing. Caught all kinds of fish! The kids and adults had a great time. I will definitely try to make it back here soon!

Awesome!

Rented the house for our yearly snowmobile trip. Location was great right off several trails and close to the flowage! Highly recommend renting. Driveway is a little tight if you're coming with a trailer. 10/10 would rent again!

Great Winter Weekend

Great week relaxing and hunting

We had a great week! The property is located such that it meets all our needs for hunting ruffed grouse, I don’t think we could a better property. The home itself is very comfortable, has a very nice kitchen, spacious bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. I would highly recommend a stay in any season.

Cozy Northwoods Getaway

What a lovely little cabin tucked into the woods. Everything was clean and easy to find, nice homey feel. Lake and yard are both gorgeous and serene. A great destination to unwind and get away from the stress of everyday life. It was hard leaving, wanted to stay a few more days!

Fall retreat

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house and grounds were well taken care of and the kitchen had all the utensils, plates, etc., we needed for our 6 day stay. The general area is nice and very quiet and the house has a great view of the lake and a nice dock. We'd strongly consider returning if we come back up for a visit.

As a native Wisconsinite, I have a deep love of the outdoors. I raised my kids at our lake home where we spent every weekend and holiday for almost 25 years. Now remarried, I live in sunny Virginia Beach, but all my best memories remain 'up north'. We get back there several times a year. The rest of the time you can find me working as a physical therapist or traveling as a volunteer PT around the world.
