House was as advertised. Host was responsive and accommodating. House was clean and well furnished. Close to the mountain. My only complaint was the upstairs rooms didn't seem to have working heaters. Only the bathrooms seemed to have working heaters.
The property overall was as described. OUr issues started upon arriving after dark on a cold, snowing Feb night. No lights on and door lock code didn't work. Luckily a back door was left unlocked. After getting in called Prop mgr who reset the lock remotely. Cast iron stove heater for living room/kitchen/dining room wouldn't light. 2 of 3 bedroom (& second bath) heaters also wouldn't go on. Prop mgr came an started these the next day after cold first night (extra baankets mostly in locked storage). Third day a guy came and started the main heater and #2 bedroom heater again (which quit middle of that night- got a heater from Walmart for rest of stay). A couple other minor maintenance things need seeing to. Heaters in bedrooms and baths are an old style and should probably be replaced as it's pretty cold during the winter. Probably not an issue during the summer months. We did receive a minimal refund against our overall bill
Our family had such a great trip and this home was so wonderful to stay at. The neighborhood is so peaceful and lovely, the home had everything we needed and has so much character! Would definitely highly recommend and would stay here again!
