Las Palmas:
Las Palmas gives you a new perspective on Flagler Beach. This second floor cottage catches the breezes that blow across the island, as well as the local music that drifts in from Finn’s on the weekend. The cottage has one bedroom (queen size bed), living room, bath, dinning porch with banquette, and a fully equipped open kitchen. When you find time to catch up with the outside world, there are flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Las Palmas has full use of the Casas de la Playa Village compound, including outdoor shower, designated parking space and patio at the base of the stairs. As with all Casas de la Playa properties, the unit is fully equipped from pots and pans to linens and towels. Rise above the actives of this vibrant beach community, and make you vacation address Las Palmas.
Las Palmas, as well as all of the units at Casas de la Playa Village, is in the heart of Flagler Beach, one block from the beach, and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries. Take advantage of all the many activities of this small beach community by staying downtown.

Classic Cottage Style

This was just a cute little cottage in the heart of Flagler Beach. I would describe it as a "classic cottage"--small, a bit outdated, but the rustic feel transports you a bit back in time to historical Florida which I liked. It was exactly as expected from the pictures and description online. It had everything we needed for our short stay. We really liked that it was close to all the downtown shops.

Delightfully retro and SO convenient

We were looking for a unique, clean, and convenient place to stay in Flagler Beach, and this place fit the bill perfectly!It's an upstairs cottage in a collection of a few other rentals. The decor is bright and happy. It's Florida, but the not the sun-faded condo Florida that some places have.The place is older, but it is very well kept and clean. There were even beach items any many extra towels.The two mini-split HVAC units worked VERY well, but they were a little hard to adjust to keep from overpowering the place with AC!We would definitely stay at this delightful place again.If you are looking for great beaches without the Daytona and Panama City crowds, consider Flagler Beach.

Great Location for the total Flagler Beach experience

Flagler Beach is a great destination. You better get there soon before commercial development and community growth change the easy going complexion of this getaway beach town. The neighboring bustling town of Palm Coast is fast encroaching on the quaint old town feel of Flagler Beach.

Cute little cottage with everything you need

The owner was fantastic to message with and very kind. The cottage was cute and came with everything you would need for your stay such as silverware and dishes, coffee pot, etc. it’s even cuter in person. The shower is small but it gets the job done. The beach is right across the street, plus it is located in the middle of the beach strip with plenty to do, including a bar a block down. Would definitely recommend if in the area and plan on coming back next time we are in Flagler Beach.

Bike week 2021

Close to everything in town of Flagler, close to beach, shops, and resteraunts. Quiet neighborhood. Noise was not bad for being bike week. Shower was small but always had hot water. Wicker furniture in living room area. My husband would of preferred a couch. It was nice not to be taken advantage of with pet fees which was a plus. And having more than 1 pet we were limited on rentals. Overall Andres was very pleasant and let us check in a few hours early since we were traveling from PA and drove all night for about 16 hours in the vehicle. I would rent from him again, but would rent a larger rental. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Hidden gem

We were able to get some days off from work last minute so wanted to plan a quick beach trip. We took only about an evening to research ,plan and book our trip. We weren’t familiar with Flagler beach but found this property and ask the owner a few questions which he promptly answered so we booked. We are glad we did. We loved the cottage.... it’s several units on the lush, green grounds that make you feel like you have stepped back into old Florida!! The cottage was perfect for us. Perfect size for couple and small pup. Everything we needed was provided plus we were welcomed with a note and bottle of wine. Being unfamiliar with the area we found it interesting but enjoyable. We didn’t get I. The car all week. We were able to walk everywhere.... stores, restaurants, eateries and bars all close by.... not to mention the beach is directly across the street. We just grabbed our chairs a book and waked right over! There’s a donut/coffee shop right behind. We walked to friends every morning most morning for breakfast. Great food and service. Crocs grill on corner has really good hot dogs. We had an amazing Italian dinner at Romero’s Tuscany by the sea one evening and an incredible seafood dinner at Flagler fish company. Highly recommend those. All within walking distance. At check in time we received a text from the owner welcoming us and letting us know if any questions to reach out to them. At check out time today we received a text saying he hoped we had enjoyed our stay and would be back! We were very satisfied with the property and location and the communication level from Andres’. Great Place

This place isn’t the Ritz but, if old Florida is what you are looking for, you will not want to leave! It was a great place for my wife and I and it is close to everything Flagler has to offer.

Great location but needs some TLC

I want to first say that the owner of this property was very responsive to any of my questions and concerns and was also a very nice individual to deal with. The location of the property is very close to the beach, restaurants and places to go within Flagler Beach. It's probably about 20-25 minutes to downtown Ormond and 45 minutes to downtown St Augustine. As far as to the unit itself, well, I was less than impressed and a bit grossed out. The property was not very clean and really made me uncomfortable. Entering and exiting the property was difficult due to the locks. The bathroom doesn't offer any comforts for a woman who wants to utilize hair or makeup products. Since this was my first time trying this type of property, rather than a hotel room, I wouldn't know if they should provide the shampoos, soaps or the comforts that you would normally get at a hotel, but there was nothing provided at this property, other than soap. In my opinion, this unit definitely needs some TLC and maybe a few upgrades so that it provides comfort and cleanliness to its future visitors, especially for the amount of money being charged for the property. Other than that, it's a great little getaway spot if you just want to be close to the beach.

Adorable cottage close to the beach

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed here for 6 nights. The cottage was very clean and super cute! There are several restaurants/bars within walking distance. The beach is a block away. Flagler is a great town that’s not overcrowded. If bringing dogs, they are not allowed on the beach between 10th street north and 10th street south. We drove just past 18th street and parked at Oceanside Beach Bar and Grill. Great restaurant and dogs are allowed on the beach there. I highly recommend!

This property was absolutely amazing. I almost didn’t want to write a review because I wanted to keep it a secret! Andres could not have been more welcoming and easy to work with. The cottage was clean and well stocked with towels and beach accessories. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Flagler beach is one of the best kept secrets on the Atlantic coast.

We have stayed several times...it is just our favorite location. We have been working on our tattoos at Inflicting Beauty With Joe Mays and awesome to be so close. Just can walk to anything!!!! Check out this place and area!!!!!

My partner and I fell in love with Flagler Beach over 35 years ago, and bought this property in 2003 while we were both teaching in Gainesville, FL. We remodeled this five cottage complex over the past few years and all five units are ready for vacation rental now in this complex and two units elsewhere in Flagler Beach. We have been offering vacation rentals in Flagler Beach since 2001. We now live in Miami Springs, and plan to retire in Flagler Beach in the future. I welcome your inquiries through this website, or by phone, or e-mail. I will respond quickly. Although we no longer live close to Flagler Beach, we visit often, and we have a local caretaker who attends to maintenance of the property and to the needs of our guests.

Why they chose this property

This cottage is one of five in a complex of a duplex and a triplex. It is centrally located with the beach a short half block away; and most restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. This unit is one block from Moody Blvd, the main street in Flagler Beach, and two blocks to the famous Flagler Beach Pier.

What makes this property unique

The most attractive aspect of Flagler Beach is its peacefulness and small beach community charm. There are no franchises on the beach, nor high rises. There are several small local restaurants and cafes with excellent food, a couple of galleries, some nice bars, and a friendly community.
Marineland is 10 minutes north, and Daytona Beach is 20 minutes south. Historic St. Augustine is a half-hour drive away, and Orlando and Disney are within an hour's drive. Major airports are within an hour and a half drive.
The sunrises are fabulous at this time of the year. The beach is less that a block away. The ocean water temperature is cool this time of the year, and the sun is bright and warm. At night sit and contemplate the constellations and the planets from anywhere, the patio, the beach, or walking around the town! This is an ideal place for moon lovers, and star gazers. Fish from the beach, or from the nearby pier. Bring your own bicycle and enjoy riding around this small community! During the winter months Right Whales may show up at the beach, and dolphins are visible year round. If you are planning a family reunion, a wedding, or any type of small group activity, this location could be ideal reserving the whole compound of four cottages and one studio.
