Situated about 100 feet above the ocean, the Oceanfront Overlook features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and over 3000 square feet of living space.  There are 3 bedrooms in the main house, and included is a detached one bedroom fully equipped and furnished ADU for a total sleeping capacity 8 on site, with plenty of off-street parking, and ample seating around the dining table.  Lounge outside on your private sundeck, or indulge in some wine and cheese in one of the lovely outfitted exterior seating areas located throughout the property.

Step outside and enjoy direct stair access to Seacliff State Beach from the adjoining Beachgate trail and walk for miles on a white sandy beach.  Surfing anyone?  There is a reason people call Santa Cruz "surf city" - with over 10 surf spots, the waves in Santa Cruz accommodate all levels of surfers.  For hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts, the Forest of Nisene Marks is just a 5 minute ride from the beach house where you can lose yourself on the trails through tranquil redwoods and creeks.  On your way home, perhaps stop for dinner at one of the many renowned restaurants in Aptos, including Mentone (2023 Michelin rated), Persephone, or just steps from the beach house – Manuel’s Mexican Food and Marianne’s Ice Cream for dessert.

Capitola Village with its’ weekend summer events, boutique retail shops, bars and restaurants are about a 5-minute car ride away, and the historic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and downtown is about 20-minute car ride.  The Silicon Valley is about 40 minutes away, and San Francisco is about 2 hours North.

To the South, the Monterey Peninsula is a 40-minute car ride away, where the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Big Sur and Carmel-by-the-Sea can easily be explored.  For golf enthusiasts, there are over 13 public courses in Santa Cruz and neighboring Monterey Counties.
