Mountain serenity in wooded setting with beautiful creek!

TEMP UNAVAILABLE Come experience mountain serenity at our little hideaway in the woods on private 2 acres! Kick back, relax while you listen to the water flow, hike, bike, or go explore the nearby towns of Lake Lure/Chimney Rock (15-20 min)/Chimney Rock State Park (25 min), Fairview(30 min), Hendersonville(35 min), Asheville(45 min), and Black Mountain(35 min). Pick your own apples or visit the local farm bakeries! Check out the surrounding towns activity calendars for festivals and events. For the fall season, there are many apple orchards/pumpkin patches close to our home (20-25 min). Summer season, there is a beach with water slide, boat and tube rentals located on Lake Lure Beach nearby (15 min). OR just stay in and enjoy the peaceful setting while roasting smores and splashing in the spring fed creek or cuddle up on the screened in porch and watch a movie on the projector screen provided. There is a lookout (with connecting trails that are part of Chimney Rock State Park) called Eagle Rock located at the end of our dead-end road with spectacular sunrise/sunset views!

Cute little house
We enjoyed our stay here. It’s a cute little house but still has plenty of space. You can tell the house has been updated fairly recently and it has all modern amenities. Both bathrooms have nice size showers, plenty of towels. Plenty of beds if you have multiple people staying. The creek outside is pretty. My kids enjoyed playing down there by the creek. There is a fire pit outside as well. The kitchen has all the essentials. As stated in the description, be cautious in the driveway if you have a low car such as a sedan. We have an suv so it wasn’t much of an issue but it did rain a lot during our trip which made it a bit difficult to turn around and get in and out. This is a great property if you want seclusion and privacy.

I am born and raised in Greenville, SC and I have always had a love of nature! Having a mountain home to share the beauty of creation with my family and friends has been a long-time dream. My hope is that every guest will experience the peace and beauty that abounds at our home!

Why they chose this property

I chose this home because it is located by a creek on a 2-acre, wooded lot. You can experience privacy and seclusion but still experience the surrounding towns offerings in 30-45 minutes. We also love the multiple farms and orchards nearby!

What makes this property unique

This home is unique because it is centered around family friendly quality time in nature! Almost all of my guests enjoy talking and playing games around the fire without a tv in the living room to tempt with distraction. The boulder laden look out located at the end of our road is a must see if you enjoy mountain scape views (sunrise and sunset are amazing), hiking, bouldering/climbing (with permits), or just a bit of fresh air!
