The host was super helpful with the check in process, even letting us get in a little early! The room is so perfect for a little couples get away and was in a great area! I would definitely recommend this place!
Property managers, communication was amazing along with the property. Room was very cute and super clean. We were left a care package full of snacks and drinks so sweet!!
This property is a great value, but don’t go in with expectations that you are staying at the Ritz Carlton. It’s a room in someone’s house. You may hear a noise once in a while, but it’s not as if they are blaring the stereo at 11. It’s a place to sleep and take a shower, at a very affordable rate, while you enjoy Florida’s Gulf Coast. The host provides snacks and drinks. They are responsive to any questions you may have while staying at their property. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.
Maria was great to talk to and work with! She was very kind and helped us out when we needed to get in early. Very clean and had everything we needed for a night before we flew out early. Highly recommended
To start - It was a little difficult to wheel our bags and find the side entrance past the giant RV in the driveway. The room smelled a little mildewy and if you don’t shut off the ice machine before you go to bed you’ll be waking up every 10 minutes with the noises. The bed was pretty much a cot and clearly old because there were indents of bodies and it was VERY creaky. The host did leave us beach towels as requested and had good snacks and water bottles in the fridge. The room was apparently right next to the primary living quarters because we could hear people and smell coffee being brewed in the mornings. It was decent for a few nights. The host was very responsive to messages.
This is a small, clean space and a quiet neighborhood. My biggest complaint is that its not really a separate unit, theres a door straight into the other side of this house in the bedroom that *appears* to be barred, but who knows if it is barred from the other side or not. I wouldn't have stayed here if I'd been a solo female due to that alone. The walls are also PAPER thin and we were serenaded by EVERY SINGLE SNORE of the people next door. No privacy, no"couples getaway" vibes, not really a peaveful sleep... we ended up getting a hotel for the second night so we could be more comfortable and actually get some sleep Check in was easy, the bed was comfy exceot for being just a couple inches off the floor. The path back is scattered pavers, so dont expect to roll a bag through.
If you’re looking for a small place to sleep. This place is great. Bed is comfortable. Shower works great. There is a small desk with microwave and coffee maker too. You can heat the other unit easily, but other than that it was great.
One of the worst experiences of my life. My husband and I booked this place for a 5-night stay in Tampa to celebrate my birthday. We paid in full and drove 14 hours from Washington, D.C., only to receive a last-minute cancellation message from the host—just one hour before check-in! No explanation, no warning.Completely shocked and stranded after such a long journey, we tried to contact the host, who responded coldly, saying it wasn’t her fault and that she couldn’t do anything about it. We struggled to find a last-minute place to stay and ended up in a terrible motel for the night.Later that night, we managed to reach VRBO support, and after a long discussion, they promised a full refund, though it took several days to process.I strongly advise against booking this place, especially if you're traveling from far away. You risk being left without accommodation at the last minute, with no help from the host. An absolute nightmare! most
The property was light and bright with a beach theme. Host was so ki d to provide snacks and drinks in the fridge. Access to room was easy with a door code. The bay was literally a view from the entrance. I felt self. The neighborhood was very ideal and off the main, busy streets. Many neighbors were jogging and walking the dog. It is roughly 30 min from TPA, parking was atad bit confusing but then again I arrived lateat night and couldn't see; however, during the day I figured out the parking. The light is dim when entering the door code and had to use my flashlight, I then realized the keypad lit up. Some don't. This was a great, convenient, and quiet place for me.
