We stayed at this property for a quick stay in PTown. It was more spacious than expected and the owner did a really great job updating the cottage. The bedrooms were comfortable, there is lots of seating options and a modern bathroom with a bonus outdoor shower. The location is awesome- so close to the beach and only 5 min drive to town. The owner was easy to communicate with and accommodated a shorter stay. We’ll definitely plan to use this property again the next time we visit!
The property was exactly as described! Very clean and well appointed home. Host, Paul was also helpful with information on local sights. Would come back to this home!!
Great property in a charming neighborhood w/ easy access into Ptown or Truro. House had everything we needed and then some. We loved dining on the porch & the beautiful path to the beach. Our host,Paul,is so friendly and helpful, and was accessible throughout our stay. Bravo!
Really amazing stay. Very clean, all the things we needed for our stay, and great access to the beach and water. We loved sitting outside, but the inside was enough room for all of us too. Will definitely book again when we are looking for an easy weekend away that includes the beach! Thank you!!

About the host
Hosted by Paul Murphy
Hi, my name is Paul and it's been a life long dream to own a beach house as I love being on or in the water . I purchased this cottage in late 2022 and spent most of 2023 rebuilding and restoring this 1950s cottage into a year round home . 2024 will be the first time I will have rented it . - I hope you will enjoy its peaceful location too .
Why they chose this property
I chose this location because of the ease of access to the beach - no shoes required unless the sand is too hot to walk on which can happen . Its also a very quiet neighborhood - so peaceful and relaxing but only a couple miles to the centre of town should you want a night out in one of the 80 or so bars and restaurants .
What makes this property unique
The peacefulness in contrast to the crowds in town which is only a few minutes away should you want to join the party - Ptown is a party all day and night over the summer.
