This house is within reach of all amenities to Phoenix but without having to deal with daily traffic. It s walking distance to the public golf course where you can enjoy a round of golf then have drinks overlooking the course; many restaurants including the local treasure The Olive Mill: where you can take in the farmers market or an olive grove tour before savoring their local cuisine or breakfast (Voted #1 breakfast spot in AZ); conveniently located to grocery stores, banks, and other shopping centers.

The large, open-concept 1600 square foot rancher has all new interior with premium beds and new furniture. There are 3 bedrooms (king, queen, 2 singles) which are separate from each other so it makes for a quiet layout. Two full-bathrooms: master bath has double sinks, soaker tub, and shower. The home also has a covered patio with a table, 6 chairs, and a BBQ to enjoy your morning coffee or dinner under the stars; and an attached two car garage. There is a large walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Laundry is onsite, and cable and high speed internet are included.

The open-concept provides an inviting space with lots of room to entertain friends, have family visit, or simply relax and watch your favorite movie on TV. You can also enjoy the big city with all of its amenities, entertainment and activities including the Arizona Cardinals or the Diamondbacks, and you re close to great outdoor spaces where you can hike in areas such as Lost Dutchman Park.

Johnson Ranch is just south of Mesa and Apache Junction in San Tan Valley. If golf is your game there are courses only minutes away in any direction, including the Johnson Ranch Golf course 4 blocks away. If you enjoy hiking, the San Tan Mountains flow down into the northern edge of Johnson Ranch and the Superstition Mountains are 20 minutes to the north. Enjoy fishing at the local catch and release pond in Johnson Ranch. If you are not familiar with the greater Phoenix area, then you should know that it is a major metropolitan area and with that comes professional sports, great entertainment and great shopping. The Superstition Mall is less than 30 minutes away and there are many smaller malls within 10-15 minutes of my home.

Nice, quiet, comfortable and has everything you need.

Melanie was very responsive if I had any questions. The bed was very comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay. This house is in a nice neighborhood and it’s just a few minutes away from the store and some restaurants. It’s about 15 minutes from Horseshoe Park. As soon as I learn the dates for my event next year, I will book again!

All you need, and more...

This house met all our basic needs and more. Comfortable beds and furniture. Close to shopping, banking, and restaurants. We liked the open area of the kitchen/living room. It was great for conversation or catching the nightly news while preparing meals. The grill worked flawlessly. Being from the Midwest, we liked this rental had a grass backyard and the community in general had lots of trees. Other than Johnson Ranch Blvd, the streets are quite and have sidewalks for our daily walks. The community pool was heated, which was nice. One of the odd and wonderful things was that the grass in the backyard is bioluminescent. It glowed when walked on! No kidding. About a half hour after the late night sprinklers turned off (11pm?), everywhere we walked seemed to leave glowing footprints. The handyman confirmed it. If anyone figures out what it is, let us know! Now, the not-so-good news. A previous renter had a pet who left some little "surprises" after their stay. It took a couple weeks, a couple visits by the yard man, and then my personal attention to detail to get the yard fully cleaned up. Not fun. Also, the garage door "code" inexplicably got wiped out. Since we used the garage for entry, and not the front door, we were charged to have the handyman let us in. We should have put the door key back in the lockbox (yup, our fault).

Wonderful rental house

We stayed in San Tan Valley in this very comfortable rental house. The neighborhood was very quiet and it felt very safe. There was a nice private backyard that we enjoyed along with our two little dogs. The King bed and other furnishings were very comfortable. It has a nice open layout concept. It is handy to grocery stores and restaurants as well. The owner is very accommodating and great to work with. It is one of the best rentals we have had through VRBO. I would recommend this house for anyone who wants to stay in this area of the valley!

San Tan Valley home away from home!

Had a great month in this home in an area called Johnson Ranch. The house was bigger than the two of us needed with our little dog. Would have been nice if some of our family could have joined us. Had all the conveniences of home. It is in a very nice neighborhood. Located near shopping and restaurants. Also not far from just about any kind of entertainment or sight seeing anyone would want to do. Great place to come to get away from cold winter weather!

Everything we hoped for.

Exactly as described, we enjoyed our vacation in this very clean and well equipped home. The owner was at all times very friendly and helpful. This is a nice and well kept community, we even recommended it to our friends. Beautiful pool and hot tub a short walking distance away. A 45 minute drive to the Superstition Mountain Range where we hiked several times. Close to all amenities. We plan to come back. Thank you !

Wonderful place to stay!

This was our first time booking via VRBO and we fully enjoyed our stay in Johnson Ranch - we loved how close the golf course was to the house and to where our grandchildren live. Melanie answered all our questions prior to our arrival and we felt right at home in the open concept, very clean house. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to AZ.

Snowbirds

This property was immaculate and had everything that we needed. Many thanks to the owner who made us feel very welcome, made our stay very comfortable and provided lots of information on area attractions. We enjoyed the local restaurants, golfing, hiking, swimming pools, outlet malls and local festivals. Highly recommended and we are planning on returning for another stay.

What a Relaxing Vacation

I love this house - it's so clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. This is not your average rental, the owner has added lots of touches to make you feel welcome. We felt like we were guests in someone's home. I will definitely book again. A travellers tip for the area: be sure to have breakfast at the Olive Grove - it's delicious!

Book this place!

It's nestled in a quiet community surrounded by some interesting activities. It was my first time being in Arizona, so I can't compare it to other rentals, however, this rental property was ideal. The house itself is super clean, excellent decor, the high ceilings and extra wise hallways give the rooms an open feel, nice little patio for morning brunch. I liked that the kitchen/dinning/ bar area and the living room are all a part of the same common area (open concept). Someone can be watching tv in the living room and few others can be playing a game of cards at the dinning room table yet the "cook" can interact with everyone ! Things we did and loved included relaxing by the pool, participated in the Peach Festival and you have to check out the Olive Groves. The owner was kind, organized and very helpful - made the bookings nice and simple.
