Spa Like Serene, Hillside Retreat With Beautiful, Terraced Private Pool

Deluxe master suite with queen size bed, 42" T.V. and en suite bathroom occupy the entire lower level of the home, which is shared with the owner who lives upstairs. The suite has a separate front entry door and is separated from the upstairs by a stairway to a locked door. There is a large custom closet with a mini kitchen in it containing a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, electric kettle, and a blender. Master bathroom features a large jetted tub with a spacious, separate shower and built-in hair dryer. There are robes, slippers, and beach towels for your use in the closet and drawers of the bathroom. Additionally, the shared outdoor patio area includes laundry facilities, an outdoor kitchen, refrigerator, and dining table overlooking the pool. Please note parking is street parking.

Sweet spot!
This lovely little pad was perfect for a quick weekend getaway in Eagle Rock. Very well equipped with all the amenities - coffee, water, snacks, bath products, robe, and then some! The snacks really helped as I didn’t have a car, so they saved me some trips! The host was very easy to communicate with and I’d def recommend staying here.

Perfect stay
Judy’s place worked out great for me as my son and family live in the neighborhood. The place was clean, quiet and had everything I needed. Many thoughtful amenities were provided. The bed was very comfortable. Hot tub is listed as an amenity but was not available during my stay. The washer and dryer were much appreciated. I would definitely stay again.

The perfect hideaway in Eagle Rock
This is a great spot in the perfect location as a home base for visiting Oxy, Pasadena and Glendale. Cute, comfortable space with every amenity (snacks, toiletries, pool gear) that you could want. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. We have stayed here three times so far and it is our go-to for visiting our kid at Oxy.

Amazing host, amazing location!
We live locally in LA but in the Hollywood area, and got married in Eagle Rock. This was a perfect little getaway for our weekend a little further east (we’re also hoping to move nearby potentially!) and we couldn’t get enough of the neighborhood! Super cute room and probably the best bathroom of all time. The soundproofing was sometimes a little noisy and we were self conscious about playing movies or music loudly or talking late and early, but for real; the space itself was great and communication was easy and so friendly!

Nice Alternative to Area Motels
It was a nice room, just as described. There is a lot of outdoor space for sitting, eating and relaxing.There are a bunch of steps to get to the unit, so keep that in mind. We had a car and there was ample street parking.

This is a great property! Beautiful house in a great location, convenient for Occidental, Glendale and Pasadena. Very comfy and Judy has every amenity you could want.

The room was every bit as good as advertised. I was initially concerned about parking on the street, however, it’s in a quiet, safe neighborhood. I had no problem parking any of the three nights of my stay.

Why they chose this property

This property is very centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and the Greater Los Angeles area. You can get to Hollywood in 20 minutes, and the San Fernando Valley in less than 30. Burbank airport is only 20 minutes away and LAX is 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. I'm near the MTA Gold Line, Southwest Museum station where you can buy a day pass for only $7.00 and go just about anywhere in this city in a day. I'm half a block from the Glendale freeway which you don't hear at all. Additionally it's very quiet here as I'm up in the hills. It feels like the country when you're here, but in minutes you can get to most any of Los Angeles' hot spots.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful landscape with a terraced private pool and an outdoor poolside eating area and chaise lounges. A large covered patio looks out over the pool with a seating area. A front deck looking out into the hills with another outdoor seating area. The master suite has a separate entrance off of the garage where you can park your car. The en suite bathroom has a large jetted tub, large separate shower, towel warmer, built in hair dryer, coffee/tea bar and two bath robes. The property features 3 picturesque outdoor seating areas: one on the front deck, looking out into the hills, one poolside and another in the large covered patio looking out to the pool.
