About this property
Sycamore Treehouse at The Meadow by HoneyTree
The Sycamore is a treehouse-inspired luxury getaway overlooking the Palo Alto creek. It is the ideal place for your visit to the Texas Hill Country. Only three feet off the ground on one side makes the treehouse very accessible, but a steep creek bank gives you the impression of perching high in the branches. The 5 treehouses at HoneyTree's The Meadow are secluded and quiet, but conveniently located only 8 minutes from Main Street.
Perched on a bluff with a beautiful view of the creekbed, and only 8 minutes from Main Street, the Sycamore cabin is tucked among sturdy live oaks, native pecans and wild dogwood trees. From the deck guests have a clear view of the sycamores lining the banks of the gurgling Palo Alto creek.
Huge windows let in lots of light and natural beauty - and the lofted bedroom has spectacular views.
The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower and full size soak tub, the kitchen is well-appointed with cooktop, apt size fridge and freezer, microwave and Keurig, cookware, etc.
Babies and small children are welcome! Bring your own extra bedding or Pack-n-Play :)
About two miles north of Fredericksburg city limit, our beautiful slice of Texas awaits your visit.
A car is pretty important for getting here and getting to/from town, but Uber and Lyft do operate in our area, as well as traditional taxis and wine shuttles (via private scheduling).
Cell phone reception for most carriers is spotty out here, but we have solid wifi!
Sturdy outdoor shoes or boots should be worn when walking the loop trail, and we advise our guests to stay on the tended paths in order to avoid thorns and critters.
We have four other treehouses in the area (the closest is about 60 yards away from the Sycamore), and separated by tree foliage. See my Host Profile if you would like to take a look at the other spaces!
HoneyTree Farm is a special place where we want every guest to feel welcomed and respected, and we ask all of our guests to maintain the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!
No smoking, no parties, no events. Please respect the privacy and tranquility of any other guests on the property: no loud music in outdoor areas.
No hunting or fishing is allowed at HoneyTree. No drones. Pets allowed with a $100 pet fee.
