Check in (at least I never saw) didn’t mention a parking pass. You have to get a parking pass from the managers office which closes at 3pm and check in is at 4pm. So the first night we spent worrying that our car would be towed per the signs everywhere in the parking lot. Maybe send a pdf one day pass to print to at least put our minds at ease. Or mention that the first night is okay or something. I went to the office first thing the next morning and there was another gentleman who was sure to tell the manager how worried he was about his car being towed. No one wants to stress over parking on their first night of vacation.
The room was clean and stocked. Only had to buy extra trash bags and coffee filters so that’s a win in my book. I would suggest you bring your own beach towels. Only enough wash towels provided.
If any upgrades are made to the room I would suggest recess lighting in the kitchen. House has great natur lighting but in the evening when you’re cooking dinner or cleaning the kitchen it can get hard to see with the one ceiling light. Also fixing the light over the stove would’ve helped too.
I love love love the area and the condos. It was very quiet even though it’s family friendly. The playground was nice for my daughter. We felt like we were close to everything we wanted to do. The balcony felt so private and we loved it.
Overall experience was great and we would book here again for our next trip to the outer banks.
