Perfect for outdoorsy folks who want privacy while still being close the area's main attractions.

You have the whole property to yourself. Please note the bed is a full size mattress. There is a vacant RV on property that is for the property owners use only and is off limits to guests. It is not included in this rental. There will not be anyone in the rv while the property is rented to a guest.

There is a drip coffee maker and french press available for use, as well as a charcoal grill and fire pit.
We do not supply charcoal for the grill or fire wood. You will need to bring your own or purchase some locally.

Paradise in the Desert

My wife and I stayed in this beautiful property for my sister‘s wedding in Big Bend. The directions were spot on to the property. It was so cozy and you could see the Milky Way at night. The owner thought of everything and was also very responsive to our needs. If we ever come back to Terilinga, this is definitely going to be a go to location for us.

Roughing it with style

We stayed here while exploring Big Bend Nat. Park. Distance to park and to Study Butte/Terlingua was an easy trip. The house was clean and well stocked. I would recommend bringing a robe for the outdoor shower. We enjoyed our stay!

Small, private, and cozy

The barndominium was easily accessible off the main highway. The actually bardominium was small and cozy, but the outside living area was really spacious. The outside shower has hot water (thank goodness). The only drawback was that the toilet paper couldn't be flushed and had to go into the trash. The fire pit was really enjoyable during a chilly night. It's a short drive into Terlingua and close to BBSP. If you don't plan on staying inside much, this is a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the area..

This place was amazing, the views, the cleanliness!! Everything about this place was amazing, sitting out watching the stars at night and the cool breeze coming off the mountains was unbeatable! Will def. Stay here again!

Cool little hide away

The place was awesome if there was a problem there was a remedy for it in the book. The check in is was straight forward and easy. It has a mini fridge so if you bring food that needs to be cold bring an ice chest as your limited on space. The out door shower is the only shower and on a hot day I bet it's awesome on a cold night yikes lol. Very unique in its own way.the view is awesome if your there to enjoy it but being so close to Big bend we wasn't there much but it's tucked behind a mountain and the sun don't peak over till around 9 so you can sleep in. The bed was comfortable and the place stayed warm in the cold and the coolest part was all the doors open so you can technically sleep under the stars. Make sure you follow the directions closely as it has a long driveway. Over all the place was great and worth checking out
