We enjoyed every bit of this unique cabin! Simple and yet elegant , we loved the birdhouse theme! The place was warm and comfortable - the hot tub and enjoyable extra! Definitely a place we'd recommend and come back to!
The cabin was nice and clean and very convenient for me. The manager was very friendly and helpful.. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay.
This is such a sweet birdhouse for 2 lovebirds. Very clean! Very nice size bathroom! It’s warm and inviting! I love the big windows, the seclusion, the privacy and the amazing large hot tub! I definitely recommend this charming birdhouse to anyone wanting a little get away!

Adorable, clean, cleverly designed tiny house with everything you need. Seemed brand new. Fancy shower! And close to many hiking trails in the state park. Loved being surrounded by trees.
We loved the location, privacy, and coziness of this place. We really enjoyed the patio/hot tub area. The listing doesn’t mention how many cottages are sharing this patio space, but it’s only 2, and the hot tub is a good size. The spiral staircase is the cottage is steep and tight, so keep that in mind if stairs are hard for you. Overall, a great place to stay. Close to hiking and kayaking at the Cuivre River State Park and downtown Troy.
The property is very cute! However, because of its minimalistic design it is very cold!! The siding and roof are aluminum so there is little insulation. The property didn’t have extra blankets and we froze! We ended up leaving a night early because it was too cold to stay. There is no cell service, you need to check property access details before arrival and you will not have access to phone service. If you’re looking to go off the grid and enjoy walking/hiking I would recommend this property in warmer mountains as it looks perfect for that! Not a winter stay!
As they said, connect with someone (while you disconnect-no WiFi or service). Absolutely adorable property. Charming area-jacuzzi building/area is undersold. Can’t wait to try out the Owl house. Well done on the property. One small downside is that there aren’t many choices for restaurants but it was very worth it.
This place is the best kept secret i never knew about! I’ve lived in the area for ten years and have a family member one mile from this place and have never realized this secret hideaway was so close to home! It really is a place to disconnect from the rest of the world yet be close enough to town to grab a meal as there is no stove or run to the store and get back again quickly. No WiFi to distract you from being able to get on your phone, and no tv to really allow you to disconnect and tune into the reason you probably booked the cabin to begin with!
We had a romantic weekend getaway. The space was very intimate and the views were fantastic. A few things to note before you book:
-There is no cell service or wifi. We arrived at night and this was a bit unsettling until the sun came up. Being disconnected was great, we just were not quite expecting it.
-There is no kitchen area. We stayed through a snow storm and needed to ensure we had supplies to stay in the house for the duration of a day (or two). Without a sink, plates, or utensils this was a challenge. Not terrible, but if we were more aware we could have prepared by brining the appropriate items with us from home.
Overall, we had an amazing weekend. A few surprises along the way.
