Adventure awaits at our lively mansion in the heart of Davenport! Built in 1873 and restored back to life, this stylish and modern estate has all the splendor for your next epic get away! Explore all 3560 sq. feet of our uniquely themed house, but don't forget to relax & enjoy the sunset river views from our NEW 7-person HOT TUB or in comfy lounge chairs beside our dazzling fire pit. Only 4 min from downtown and across from the Mississippi River Trail you can quickly get to all the local events, restaurants and bars.
Our home offers river views, 10 ft high ceilings, original hardwood floors, granite countertops, and all the amenities you could want for a short or long term stay.
In the upstairs of the home we have 4 private bedrooms: 1 queen bed (Helix Midnight mattress) with an attached private bathroom and rain shower, 1 private king bedroom (Helix Midnight mattress), 1 private queen bedroom (Tuft and Needle mattress), 1 bunk bed with a bottom full sized bed and top bunk twin size bed, and a shared bathroom and with a shower and tub attached to the bunk bedroom. There are also 2 fold up twin beds (both are weighted for adults) upstairs. There are also two floor mattress twins underneath the 2 of the beds for extra support. One is located underneath the bunk bed and another is located in the king bed.
Downstairs we have 2 different couch sleeper options: 1 private fold out futon couch next to a half bathroom and 1 pullout queen couch in the living room.

We are located close to trains that run through downtown Davenport. These trains are currently required to blow their horns through downtown during all times of day and in the night. We have provided white noise machines to help with this. We have not had issues with the noise, but we are mindful people may be sensitive to the train horns. Please keep this in mind and reach out to us with any questions or concerns prior to your booking.
Guests will have access to all main floors of house except the basement and attic. The garage is available for guest use. The garage is very long and can fit two smaller car or one larger car.
There is FREE street parking on the road on either side of the house. Please note we do not own the parking lot on the south side of the house. We occasionally have friends park here and it has never been an issue with the current owner, but if you park here this is at your own risk.

Our yard faces away from our neighborhoods and toward the river so you have little worries about making too much noise in the house or on our outdoor patio.
We do please ask guests to be mindful of being loud in the backyard after 11pm and before 7am.
There is FREE parking on both streets on either side of the house.

Our home is less than a 5 min walk to the Mississippi River Trail that stretches 11.3 miles through downtown Davenport. I love biking and running this trail and so do the other locals! 😊
There is no smoking allowed on the property at any time. If there is evidence of any smoking a $500 fine will be charged.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not place trash in the recycling bins. Do not bring more bags than can fit in the trash can to the street for Monday trash pickup. The city WILL NOT pick up recycling cans with trash inside or excess bags outside of the trash bin without special stickers. If you have excess trash please place next to the garage and we will have someone pick it up. Please respect our home as you would your own, thank you!
Please follow our house checkout instructions provided to you at the end of your stay.
All rules of this agreement are not suggestions, they are mandatory for any guest staying on the property, and failure to adhere to them can lead to fines and/or eviction from the property without refund depending on the severity of the infringement. There will only be one warning before immediate eviction from the property.

HOUSE OPERATION
QR codes, local recommendations, and additional house instructions are provided in the Guestbook located throughout the home for helpful instruction.
This is a lodging-only property. No parties are allowed in the house except if approved by the owner prior to your arrival.
The TVs are Smart TVs. You can use and log into any app you'd like on the TVs, just be sure to log out before you leave. We provide live cable using the YouTube TV app (not the YouTube app).
We offer biweekly mowing service and snow removal when snowfall is greater than 2 inches.
This is a no-smoking property. You will be charged a $500 fee remediation cost if there is evidence of smoking in the property or damage to any furnishings outdoors due to smoking.
Please respect the quiet hours of the neighborhood between 10pm to 8am. Our neighbors help make our place safe and homey, please return the favor. The houses in our neighborhood are all private property. Please do not trespass on our neighbors lawns for any reason. If you would like some extra space we are only a short walk to the Mississippi River Trail and River Heritage Park.
The bath products are there for you to use, but please do not take them with you. If you love them, they can be purchased at Public Goods' website.
We understand that every guest has a different comfort level when it comes to sleeping temperatures, and we allow you to adjust the temperature when you desire. However, we ask that you do not set the temperature below 68 degrees when cooling and move them back up to 72 during the day. This is to ensure our HVAC system runs smoothly and does nothing freeze over. If the system freezes due to the temperature being set too low for extended periods of time, it will become the guest’s responsibility to pay the repair fee which is around $200 per repair. The downstairs fans have a summer and winter rotation to lift air up or keep heat down. Feel free to adjust this with the remote as needed.
TRASH
Trash pickup is every Monday. Recycling pickup is every other Monday. Please bring the cans to the road on Bridge Ave for pickup if you have an extended stay.
If you have excess trash please place it next to the garage and notify the host and we will have someone pick it up. Please respect our home as you would your own, thank you!
NO PET POLICY
Pets are not allowed at this property. If any pet damage or excess cleaning is observed then we fill charge a fine and you could risk getting permanently removed from your rental app service fee.
EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUTS
Please observe the designated check-in and check-out times. We cannot accommodate early check-ins or late checkouts due to cleanings and scheduling, unless approved by the owner at least 24 hours prior to your arrival or departure date. A fee will be incurred if the Airbnb is not vacated by check-out time.
CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS
As you check out, please know these steps are completely optional—it’s your vacation, and we want you to relax and enjoy your time with us! That said, any help is truly appreciated!
No need to start the laundry! We professionally launder all linens including comforters and blankets. If you could please place used towels, sheets, and pillowcases on the laundry room floor helps our cleaners avoid unnecessary laundry. Please do not remove the bamboo mattress and pillow zipper protectors.
Please scrap food waste into the trash. If you could load and start the dishwash this helps a ton!
Please lock up when you leave, and if you head out early, letting us know allows our cleaners to start sooner.

FUN FACTS
Our home is a prime location for seeing several different birds all year round. Eagles migrate to this area in the winter to feed on fish at the outlet of the Lock and Dam No 15. This is one of the best places on earth to see eagles hunt and fight for fish. During summer months you may see Pelicans sunbathe and drift along the Mississippi and Chimney Swifts fly in and out of the old factory building on the Southwest side of our house. It is quite a sunset view to watch the Chimney Swift soar high in circles dancing with each other and diving to go rest for the night into the chimney.
