Reserve this private Lakefront setting in a quiet cove on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack anytime throughout the year! This property features a main house, 2 guest quarters, Indoor pool, spacious decking and a private dock on the “Big Lake” plus so much more…The large Indoor heated pool is perfect for anytime of the year and the pool room features a Flat screen TV, Foosball table, seating, access to the deck and of course views of the lake. The main house offers a Great Room with a propane fireplace, fully stocked Kitchen with all of the essentials, Dining Area, Billiards Room, Loft, 2 bedrooms and a spacious deck for outdoor dining and grilling overlooking the lake. Amazing home in Greentown, Pa

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious house for our family weekend at the lake! The home was clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. The layout was perfect for a group, with comfortable bedrooms and a great common area for gathering. The location near the lake made it even better, offering beautiful views and easy access to the indoor pool, which we got great use out of. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway!

Great family house for multiple generations

The 3 different sleeping quarters is great for families with young kids since they all had their own family area. Fantastic outdoor eating area for combined dinners

Expensive for this price

For this house for 2 nights we paid 3950 $, this is too expensive, furniture is too old, cleanliness, in the living room has old small TV you can’t connect to youtube, house like labyrinth, in this house only pool is good. living room is small for 14 adults not enough space.

Great multigenerational getaway

House is perfect for many generations, with multiple sleeping areas. Great place for people who like to read. Cozy alcoves with loveseats to cuddle up with your loved ones. Indoor pool, I’ll be at a little on the cool temperature side, still a great place to hang out. Has big flat screen TV for movie watching and games while you are in the pool. The lake is gorgeous. plenty of room for a while. Beth, the property agent, was very responsive. Handy Man also showed up on very short notice.

Excellent for large extended family

The property, house, and pool were very clean. We had age range from 6-86 and we all could relax, visit, enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. The FirePit and playground provides outdoor fun and the heated pool with very comfortable air temperature above the pool such a treat on chilly autumn days. Many indoor pools get a slightly musty smell but this one did not at all which was wonderful. The layout of the house allowed individual family groups to have privacy while the spacious family room and deck with plenty of chairs gave us ample space to be all together when we wanted to.

Amazing Place on the Lake!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake and the property was awesome. The space was more than we expected and the separate sleeping spaces allowed us to create some quiet space for some while having everyone all together. The location was great and close enough to stores and stuff to get anything you might need. Only thing I would do differently is planned to bring more things for the water (kayaks, etc) as there aren't really any at the property and we could only find rentals for boats. Would definitely stay here again!!! Great for families and would be great for adult group trips as well.

Annual family week at Lake Wallenpaupack

This is our 5th year at the lake and out fourth house. As our family has grown the house size had too. This one is amazing and we will return to this one. The rental management and maintenance was great so is the owner with all that is added to property. Looking forward to next year already at Snug Harbor and we just got home! Great location inside cove and an indoor pool with lots of outdoor space and two connected complete guest quarters.

Excellent Vacation Property

This is an amazing property. We had a mix of friends and family stay with us with a wide age range of kids and everyone had a great time. Indoor pool is fantastic and saved a couple rainy days where the kids otherwise would have been stuck inside. One of our party was also my autistic little brother who doesn't do well in the sun but loves to swim and he spent hours every day in the pool. The views are beautiful. House layout for guest houses is a little bit of a maze but once you figure it out it isn't bad. I would definently recommend this property to friends and am highly likely to visit again.

Best Vacation Ever!

Snug Harbor is perfect for a family vacation.

We had a wonderful time here. The house was plenty big enough for 10 adults and 6 children. The indoor pool was very nice. The deck and fire pit area were used every day and evening for smores! It was a plus for us having a gas grill that was big enough to cook for all of us. Having smaller children, we did not use the private dock. We took them to Promised Land State Park which has a very nice beach and picnic area that is free! Plus lots of hiking trails. It is about a 10 minute drive from the house.

Great for family gathering

Our family had a fabulous reunion at this property. It is set up perfectly for a large group with a bright, spacious gathering space in the main house and separate accommodations in the guest areas. The indoor pool was a huge hit for adults and children and the dock was a big plus for outdoor swimming. The guest accommodations were clean and functional with a nice living/dining space in each, as seen in the property photos. The bedroom/bathroom spaces in the guest units reminded me of a labyrinth, with narrow, winding hallways and stairways to lots of rooms and loft areas. There was spotty cell service in the area, but the property has a house phone for emergencies. The owner and property manager were responsive to questions and other communication. Overall, this is a wonderful property in a lovely area.

Great Vacation

This is our second June vacation at Snug Harbor Cove! There were a total of 14, 9 adults and 5 children! Both weeks were fun filled! The weather wasn’t the best, but once again, the pool was clutch! The kids enjoyed it the most! They fished off the dock, went out in canoes and kayaks! The highlight was the pontoon we rented on Thursday! Our oldest grandchild was teary eyed when they left! She said she didn’t want to go home!! We enjoyed watching deer one evening by the fire, the kids were intrigued by them, saw the the very next morning while eating breakfast!! Beth is very easy to work with and addressed a couple concerns we had! She always gets back to you in a timely manner! Hats off to the owner and staff that helped us enjoy our time away from home! We are planning on returning in 2024, at the pleading of the grandkids! They can’t wait to return! Cant’t go wrong renting this home! Mary Anne and Roy Fisher and Family

Wonderful Vacation

Another great stay!

Rented this house a year ago in the summer and decided to do it in the fall bc of the indoor pool. The kids LOVED the pool and being able to run around the big backyard. A very unique and fun property that I’d recommend to anyone in any season.

Beautiful spacious house with many amenities. Pool was very enjoyable as was the spread out nature .

Spacious enough to be together but have privacy especially with children. Geese dirtied up the yard but not to the point of being a nuisance. Sound system was a major plus. Very nice property that provided us with the accommodations that made for a memorable week.

Annual Family Vacation

This was our first time visiting Lake Wallenpaupack. The house was perfect for our large family. There was plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably between the main house and the guest quarters. The large kitchen was well stocked with enough cooking necessities to make eating in easy.We really enjoyed the quiet cove with our own dock. We were able to dock our wave runners and even rent a pontoon boat from the nearby marina. The pool was a big.hit as we had a few afternoon storms. Everyone enjoyed the large deck. Beth, the property manager, was very helpful with a few questions that came up during our stay. I could go on but I’m just going to say that we all had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to going back next year .

Great location for a large group getaway

4 families fit easily in the house, so many things to do without leaving the property. Indoor pool was great for the kids, deck is spacious with good amount of seating. Kitchens were clean, enough pots / pans. We kayaked easily from the gravel shoreline and dock. We caught a few bass from the dock as well. Beth, with Keller Williams, was great and very responsive to the couple questions I had. Would recommend this house for a large group or a few families looking to spend time together.

Great family getaway

Overall, great house and location. The main house was perfect, the guest quarters were functional. The large kitchen was great, huge deck with plenty of room for outdoor dining. Game tables and indoor pool also a plus. The kids thoroughly enjoyed jumping off the dock and fishing. Only suggestion would be to have cleaning crew replace shower curtain liners, add a Keurig and also have toasters in the kitchens of the guest suites!
