Quiet Tranquility with stunning sunsets, surrounded by the Weeks Bay National Estuary. You will immediately feel excitement the moment you pull around the curve and down the drive, because you can see the sun dancing on the water beyond the house. Walking inside you know you made the right choice. The cozy wood walls wrap you in serenity while the new remodel has all the essentials to make for a wonderful relaxing get away! So many original features were left in this old cabin and like the original wood walls, floors and doors in some of the rooms. Custom nooks and crannies make for perfect spots to take your work with you. The sectional sofa is large enough for a group to gather on. And the open floor plan can accommodate extended family and friends, plus the pets, with an easy and natural flow. We had our family here for this past Easter Gathering. There were 18 of us and two dogs! The oversized back porch make rainy days the best days as you watch the storms roll in without fear of getting wet! Take an adventure with the kayaks ! Throw out a line, cast a net, put out a crab trap or just sit on the dock! The sunsets are spectacular! The birdwatching is amazing. You will see all different types of fish and often have Dolphin visits. My sister is partial to the east side view where we have a sweet little porch to drop your groceries when you walk up the stairs or to sit and sip your morning coffee and bird watch. We offer mariner whips free of charge and a boat lift for an additional fee. The dock is shared with the rental "The Last Shack" which is adjacent to the property. Both homes can be rented for a combined experience to sleep 20! The Last Shack sleeps 8. The Last Cabin can sleep 12. Moments from Magnolia Springs and only a 15 minute drive into Fairhope or Foley or a 30 minute drive to the beaches. Quite simply, I could stay here awhile, and found it hard to leave!!
