Warm cozy house in Newark

We stayed at this house in Jan and the weather was below freezing. The house was clean, warm and cozy, although the water in the shower did not remain hot after the first person. The appliances in the kitchen were modern and high quality. The house is on a busy street.

Great location

Great location! Lots to do in Newark. Thehouse is on a busy street, but it wasn't too big of a deal. Just a little loud at night if you're not used to it. Host allowed us to do a late checkout which was awesome!! Very clean and comfortable

Sweet and charming home!

The home is beautiful, charming, clean and full of character. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, although it was only one night. We were fantasizing how we would use each room if we owned the home. You will love it! Great communication with the owners. If we're ever in town again, this will be our go-to destination. Thanks Daniel and Amanda!!

Host Daniel was responsive and the property description was accurate. The spacious kitchen and full baths were a big plus and each seems to have been recently remodeled. A neighbor was very kind and helpfully rang the bell to tell us we had left a car door open. Each bedroom has window(s) facing the road. Very infirm guests might benefit from a stairway handrail.

Newark

The refrigerator was not clean. A good thing that we sleep in the same bed as we could not access the second bedroom. Need to inform folks that the staircase is very, very, steep and not really for elderly folks. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

7 day stay

My husband loved the downstairs shower! House very clean, located close to shops but on a street with lots of vehicles passing. Main bedroom is in the front of the house that faces road. Neighborhood is a mix, shared driveway; neighbors on that side couldn’t be nicer. There’s a screened in porch out back & a nice backyard but unfortunately, house on the other side of the fence isn’t anything you’d want to look at.
