This listing is for the French Country Main AND Guest House. The main house is 3800 sq. ft. and the stand alone guest house right next to the main house is 500 sq. ft. Each house can be rented individually or both together.

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a view of the valley below. The 4,000 sq. ft. main house and its 500 sq. ft. guest house is nestled in the rolling wooded hills of Southern Indiana and is conveniently located off of route 46 only 5 miles from IU stadium and 9 miles from Nashville in Brown County. The idyllic setting is perfect to relax and reconnect with your family. Locally sourced handmade soap is supplied to our guests from the goat farm down the road.

We moved our family to Indiana in 2021 after spending 30 years in Northern New Jersey. In my former NJ life, I was a professional flutist and ran a costume cookie business. Now I am a Kindergarten teacher at my son's school and your host.

Why they chose this property

We love this neighborhood because it is allows us to experience the natural beauty of Southern Indiana yet it is just minutes from all of the conveniences of the city.

What makes this property unique

The long and winding road under the canopy of trees brings you one mile up the hill to a spectacular view of the valley below. The house has many unique features that the former owners put into it from their travels to Europe. It has many large gathering spaces that make hosting family events easy.
