If you are looking for a home for a group larger than 10, the city of Soldotna has passed an ordanince that, in city limits, we can no longer accommodate groups larger than 10 people.

Located in the heart of Soldotna Alaska on the bank of the Kenai river. Sleeps 8 or more adults -Two master suites with baths, upstairs, Master 1 has a king size, pillow top mattress, and master two has a queen size pillow top mattress . Down stairs has two separate rooms with Queen beds and one shared bath. Home has all of the amenities needed, full kitchen, outdoor BBQ and laundry facilities. Enjoy the views of the river flowing past the house just feet away from the living room kitchen or the 1500 sq ft deck. Relax by the outdoor fire pit or enjoy your morning coffee under the covered deck as you take in the sights and sounds of the river. Watch eagles catch fish or perch on the trees in front of the house. Over 100' of private river front with 33' of fishing dock. Fish cleaning station is located right on the dock. Awesome House with Lots of room for entire family

Family fishing trip.

Excellent property with a great owner! Easily the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at. It was well equipped with everything you could ever want or need for an Alaskan salmon fishing trip. Fishing off the dock was a bit tricky for some in the group but we caught plenty of fish.

Wedding stay

We had a group of 8 "seniors". The property fit our needs perfectly; the access to the wedding venue was very easy, the bedding was very comfortable and the view outstanding! Kevin was a gracious and accommodating host who was readily available in case we encountered any issues, which we did not. Check out was a breeze! BEAUTIFUL DECK!

Kenai River Trip

What an amazing property, the photos do not do this location justice. Beautiful home with ample room for a large family. The fishing platform on the river is an amazing place to spend time. Especially when the Sockeye are in thick, like they were for our trip. :)

Family Fishing Trip

Great Location on Kenai! Family had fun relaxing - watching the bald eagles and fishing!! It is a lot of stairs - but worth the effort! Host was super responsive and the house/deck was great!

Fantastic Stay!

This was by far our favorite place we stayed on our 10-day Alaskan adventure. The house was perfectly appointed and had everything plus more we needed. Our only negative is that we didn’t stay longer! The river was amazing, the Eagles were stunning. We will be back!

Great family vacation home

We had a wonderful time at this great home in a beautiful setting! Very well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, etc for lots of cooking! Very comfortable beds! Great home!

We had a wonderful time at your home! although while we were there and decided to fish on the dock the fish weren't biting at all. We had a wonderful meal at Louie's, we also loved the Moose is Loose Bakery there in town.

Everything you could need

This place was amazing, the house had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was far better stocked then most, it was very homey and comfortable. Lot's of inside space and the deck is just amazing, so many places to get comfortable and relax. And of course right on the beautiful Kenai, we really couldn't have asked for more!!

Lots of memories made!!!!

Our family enjoyed this lovely home immensely! Lots of memories were made spending time together on the beautiful deck, watching the bald eagles. Fishing wasn’t great (we were there early) but the location was central and made day trips very convenient. Kevin and Jill were extremely responsive and so accommodating! We hope to return!

Did not want to leave!

This property was amazing. We had a party of 11 adults (some young adults) and the house was perfect! Caught a ton of fish from the river. Great views! Was everything the owners said it would be. We will be back!!! Thank you Kevin and Jill for your little peice of paradise!

Beautiful House with great views

We stayed there for 3 nights and totally enjoyed our stay. - There was many games for kids. - House was spotless and had fully stocked up kitchen. - Enjoyed the deck outside - Views were spectacular - Great location of the house. It was close to stores. Kevin was wonderful host and helped in every way. This is the HOME to stay if going to Alaska. I am surely coming back.

Soldotna Home on the Kenai

We had a wonderful stay! Kevin and Jill were top drawer in accommodating our needs and being available. They were excellent hosts! The house was extremely well appointed; comfort beyond our expectations! The deck and fishing platforms were the best we have had in the five years we have been fishing the Kenai. Perfect, everything you will need for a wonderful trip!

The owners are great, the home is beautiful and well stocked. We've now stayed at two other VRBO homes and they do not have a quarter of what this home offers. (All the kitchen items you will need!) The deck and entire property is amazing, plenty of space for the kids to run around and the morning sunrise on the river is breath taking. We watched eagles, fished, BBQ'd and had a campfire! So, so, so much fun! Thank you so much for the time and effort put into your home!

Very impressive!!

The house was great and lived up to all the online photos and our expectations. The owners were super nice and helpful. We made our reservation a year in advance and over that time our group of 14 (8 adults and 6 kids) had plenty of questions. They were always answered quickly and in detail. I can't thank Kevin and Jill enough for making a vacation for this many people and from so far away (central Florida) such a great experience.

Perfect Location, Perfect Host, Perfect Vacation!

We greatly enjoyed our time in Alaska in large part to the quality and comfort of this home, the excellent location, and the generous host. The location was so close to town and the fishing opportunity was tremendous. The dock was rigged with a sound dock as well as a place to clean fish with ease. The house had comfortable beds and amenities. We found the home pristine and extremely well stocked. Our host was available to teach us Alabama folks how to best try for the salmon (we came with 200lbs!) and knowledgeable of the area restaurants. We can't imagine staying anywhere else if a great vacation is the goal in mind.

Amazing Property

Just got back from a 5 day Kenai fishing trip with 8 guys from 3 generations. We could not have been happier with the accommodations. Beds were clean and comfortable. One of the best stocked kitchens I have ever seen in a rental house. Including TWO coffee makers (a necessity for those early am fishing trips) The deck dining area and couches are probably one of the best on the entire Kenai. Kevin was amazing and very helpful. He even came by to show my dad and son the proper technique and best fishing holes off of the property. Caught our limit every day! We will definitely be back to Soldotna and will be staying here for sure!

The perfect place to get away. We are right on the best part of the Kenai River! The beauty is beyond explanation. So many things to do... Fishing, cooking, eating, relaxing, napping, kayaking, hiking, and so much more!! There is no need to drive anywhere, everything is right here at your front door! Make a picnic lunch and make a fire in the fire pit. Watch the eagles pick fish right out of the water from the kitchen window, the living room or the deck. Catch salmon (in season) or trout all year long. This is a great place to bring your whole family with plenty of room to spare! 1 King and 3 queen beds and lots of couch and floor space too! Laundry and freezer space are on site too.
