Deceptive listing

We were very upset and disappointed by the misrepresentation of the listing to what was actually there in relation to the agreed upon price. The location is nice, the house has a lot of potential and it is clear that you are still working on it. The listing stated 6 bedrooms, however, there were only 4 bedrooms, with the fifth missing a door, and no 6th room. There was no gym or hot tub spa as was listed. It was missing the washer and dryer that was listed. It stated there was a dock, which wasn't accessible, safe, or functional with it being half in the water. The lack of security on the place is concerning, the amount of flies were off-putting, maybe coming in from the open door cracks? The dishwasher wasn't latched in and fell out towards us when loading it, the hot and cold water in kitchen sink were swapped, the wifi not "state of the art" where we couldn't work remotely wherever we wanted in the house. Let alone connect a baby monitor to it that wasn't lagging. A walk out door from a bedroom onto the roof with no railing. Exposed electrical wires. Overall has a lot of potential, but it has some major safety concerns and was not what was described in the listing.

Not as advertised

I planned a family reunion but this house was not ready and did not have the facilities promised for our event. There was a power outage the days before I arrived, but the owner told me he was able to get the cleaner there and everything would be ready. Instead I found the fridge full of rotting food, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and smelled horrible and there was no dishwasher detergent. The counter still had crumbs and spills under the appliances, so nothing had been moved to clean underneath. The trash was still in the trash can. The floors, including bathrooms, had not been cleaned. Reached out to the owner who didn't respond until much later and asked if I wanted to have the cleaner return but I had already spent my entire evening cleaning everything. Also the grills weren't cleaned, still had food stuck to them. The owner did send someone to clean them. Note: There is no washer/dryer, no hot tub, no gym, only 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths with poor plumbing, no ability to dine "al fresco" unless you bring your own table and chairs. The dock is dangerous and unusable. The kitchen lacked many items, which I had to request. Beds weren't made properly and rooms lacked lamps and extra bedding. They are clearly still renovating. Although the owner was responsive during the stay, I was most disappointed that he refused to refund any of the fee I had paid. I feel cheated that the house was not what was advertised and I wasn't able to fully enjoy my stay.
