Holiday Get-Away

Location was absolutely PERFECT! This cabin is rustic yet functional for our stay. There were some minor issues with faucet handle, heat maintaining a comfortable temp, the toilet flushed a bit slow and slightly backed up but we were only there for sleeping and getting ready to visit with family. We contacted the property manager to report heat issue as the temp was 60 degrees when thermostat was set to 68. We left a message and didn't receive a return call and then, after reset of the thermostat, it started heating up again. We called 2 hours later than left another message to report that we had resolved. Unfortunately, we had to repeat this process several times during our stay. This place has a ton of potential and we hope to see the owner's do some more finishing touches to this lovely place! Oh, the furnishings were adorable. It was clean but the exterior lacked some tidying - some trash and other debris was at the entrance. They did have a nice starter stock of paper towels/toilet paper/dish soap/trash bags/laundry detergent. The beds were very comfortable - and the living room was cozy for evening chats and morning coffee. We enjoyed our morning walks through this small neighborhood - great hills to climb! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to see where this VRBO goes as it has so much to offer with some added TLC!
