About this property

Beachfront Home on Private Island

Little Majors Spot is a 100-acre private cay situated in the magical, world-renowned waters of the Exuma Cays. The white sands of her three secluded beaches host tidal waters that are a gift to the mind and body.
The Beach House is located on the dunes of Love Beach, a perfectly sculpted horseshoe beach that stretches over 700 feet wide. Elevated 15' above sea level, guests are afforded 360⁰ views and island breezes that pour through open windows from any direction. The four-bedroom, two-bath home is cozy enough for two and grand enough for eight family members or friends. The great room offers dining for ten, a breakfast bar, a full kitchen, and a four-meter sliding door showcasing one of the most spectacular views in all the Bahamas. With a gazebo and hammock court on Sunset Beach, multiple footpaths and two docks, there is room for everyone to disconnect in their own space or gather together and reconnect.
Adventures abound within 10 minutes in each direction of Little Majors Spot. Enjoy her surrounding reefs, go wade with the swimming pigs on neighboring Big Majors Cay, dive into Thunder Ball Grotto or swim with friendly nurse sharks on Compass Cay. For dinner, stay at home or enjoy fine dining at Fowl Cay Resort or Staniel Cay Yacht Club and great local fare at Big Dawgs Pub and Taste and Sea, each of which is just a five-minute boat ride away. It is easy to get anywhere but you may just wish to go nowhere after setting foot on Little Majors Spot!
Arrive in your boat or let us source one for you. Our North Dock accommodates vessels up to 60' and 7' draft and our Covered Dock vessels up to 30' and 2' of draft. Provisioning, culinary services, housekeeping, massage and fishing guides are just a few of the additional services we can arrange for you. We look forward to hosting you on our little slice of paradise.

Incredible home and beach
We stayed at Little Majors in March '25 with a group of 6 friends and 2 children. It was truly breathtaking. Zeke was an incredible help with going to and from the airport; he had a great attitude and helped us feel comfortable with things that we needed. We are looking forward to our return!

True Gem!
WOW! What an incredible week! We just got back home from our trip and I miss it already! All the pictures and information on the listing are accurate, however, it does not prepare you for what you experience when you arrive! The pictures do not do it justice! The home is very comfortable and spacious and the location cannot be beat! Close enough to Staniel Cay but still perfectly private! The cleared paths to the beaches & dock are manicured and in excellent condition! The skies are so clear at night you can see more stars than ever! And Gage is the Perfect Host! He is very friendly & knowledgeable, and was always available & ready to offer help or give advice, but never intruded! Thank You Miss Gutsy Lady, for sharing your Beautiful Home!! It was a truly Blessed Week!!

Special Corner of the World
We were lucky to find this place and even luckier to stay at this place. The pictures cannot capture how special of a view and location this is. Conveniently located close to everything you would want to do but at the same time you do not ever need to leave the island. Gage is the bonus you get. He makes everything so easy. Bring the family and friends. Honestly, never been on a secluded Island before, nor the Bahamas, and didn't really know what to expect. From the beginning thou, I knew we were in good hands with very clear and organized instructions, guidance and planning from our host, Gage. We stayed there for a month, as a sabbatical of sorts, and at first were a little concerned about becoming stir crazy, but that couldn't have been further from our experience. This was was more than a vacation, it was an opportunity to spend QUALITY time as a family. Everything from reading, paddle boarding, kayaking, cooking, baking, visiting close in and remote Islands to discover all the riches and beauty of the Exumas (fish, reef, turtles, shells, sandbars, pigs, Iguana's, local coconut bread, etc). We travelled as three adults and two toddlers and had family members in and out on the weekends. The house is extremely cozy and the Island has several beaches that each provide their own unique and interesting qualities. We really got into the spirit of the Island by following the moon phases, tide schedules, and mindful consumption of electricity and water as an Islander would/should. With that said, we had every convenience (if we chose it use it) from nonstop water and electricity, A/C, Wi-Fi, VHF, Satellite Radio, blenders, grill, TV, huge collection of games and books, etc. Although our best memories are the peaceful quiet moments . . . Few recommendations from Gage that I'm thankful we followed. 1) We rented a boat, with zero boating experience, and within a few days we were Island hopping with ease. 2) We brought our dog, highly encouraged by Gage, and it really enriched our experience. To sum up our experience and to the homeowner and host's credit, we never actually felt like we were renting a home, but rather joining an extended family.

Little Majors - a slice of heaven
You truly have a spectacular place here. The house looks out to what could be called one of the best views on the island. Thanks for allowing us to visit and enjoy the slice of paradise. Gage you were one hell of a host and this island is lucky to have you in its care. Thanks for being such a great host – I don’t think it would have been the same without your experienced input and suggestions! Till next time...

Best vacation ever!!
For our 25th anniversary, we wanted to do something different. We decided to find a deserted island in paradise. Little did we know that we'd actually discover exactly that! The house was beautiful, relaxing, well-stocked and lacking nothing. The beach is beyond beautiful and we could have simply sat on that back porch or in the living room for hours just staring at the view. There was always so much to do, that we could have stayed another week and still not seen all of it. But the most important part of the entire vacation, which made it wonderful, was Gage the caretaker of the home. He was always readily available to help explain things, always ready with a smile and a kind word, and had the best advice for local guides and sites to see. He even went out of his way to help when we had some issues with a boat we had rented, and was kind enough to take us to a snorkel spot we had missed on our last day. We can't say enough about him and this wonderful place. Finally, as we began our flight home, I knew it had been a success when my wife quietly cried for half the flight as she was sad to be leaving. Having vacationed in many countries and different places, I've NEVER seen her actually cry from not wanting to leave. This was the first time on a vacation when we didn't say "I can't wait to get home". Suffice to say, we WILL be back many more times to refresh ourselves and our busy lives. Thanks for having us Gage!

Tough to get to but worth the trip
The Exumas are a hidden gem for those who have never been. If you seek nightlife, this is not your spot but those who love the outdoors, boating and sandy beaches, this is a place for you. The Island has everything you need. Kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling right off of the house. Gage was a great host and guide. He will help you set up anything you need. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and the like. Clearly, entertaining in the home is the norm. The only negative I would say is that the Wifi is spotty but I understand this is something they are working on. We went in July and it was HOT!

Best Family Vacation EVER!!!!
The best thing about this family vacation was not the spectacularly clear warm water, nor the stunningly beautiful deserted beaches, nor the boating that made me feel like a teenager again. Nor was it swimming with dozens of tame nurse sharks a short boat ride away, nor the enormous but friendly wild pigs on the next island over. It was the feeling of seclusion and privacy with just my whole family, kids, grandchildren and partners/spouses, to connect in an authentic magical setting. Gage, our "host" is somewhere between an adventure guide, a concierge, a magician and friend. This home and island was way above my normal budget, but totally worth it on many levels, and we will definitely return!

fabulous family time
A great time, completely away from the busy business life in the states, and anybody else for that matter. Island is secluded enough to really spend some quality family time whether that is exploring, kayaking, boating, collecting shells, reading, or just lying on one of your own private beaches. House provides all the needed amenities without going overboard on frivolous luxuries. Caretaker on island is great, close enough when you need him but far enough away to feel like there is nobody else around. Fairly easy to make travel arrangements into Nassau and then to the island with only about four hours from the time we left the snow in Philadelphia until we were on the beach in front of the house. Much easier and quieter than our trip last year to St. John in the USVI. Will definitely be back to the Bahamas again.

Amazingly relaxing and serene
Let me start this review with the fact that my family and I just went to Tahiti for what was supposed to be a two week vacation. I am here to say Tahiti has NOTHING on the Exumas. I would recommend the Bahamas over Tahiti any day. We have been to the Exumas many times. Each time it seems to get better. This trip was for the sole purpose of relaxation and visiting friends who live among the other islands. We could not have picked a better spot. I have not felt that stress free in over a year. The care taker, Gage, met us at Staniel and picked us up by boat. I knew the island was nice as I have been near it but never on it. It exceeded my expectations on so many levels. First, the island has so many hidden treasures and beaches. The beach that the house sits on is one of the prettiest and secluded. There is a sea-glass beach, a treasure beach(lots of interesting things wash ashore), sunset beach and the dock area. Atop a hill a short walk from the house you can sit in the gazebo contemplating life all day long. The house had 4 spacious bedrooms that had great beds. A/C in all of the rooms (a requirement for my hubby) and ocean breeze through the main part of the house. The kitchen was very well appointed. We did a lot of cooking and entertaining. I have a 5 year old who thought that it was better than Disney World being there. Never a dull moment. There is wifi however we all UNPLUGGED from social media and work in general naturally. The house is simple but beyond perfect and we did NOT want to leave!!!

Slice of Heaven
I had the pleasure of enjoying five days of bliss on Little Majors Spot in the company of both friends and clients. We were each impressed with the cleanliness of the beach house and the quality of the bedding and overwhelmed by the surrounding beauty and beaches. The views from the back deck looking out over Love Beach are one of a kind. We were an eclectic group each with different needs and somehow Little Majors managed to fulfill all of them. The local guides made sure we caught more than enough fish and we were provided a great balance of care and privacy throughout our stay. I will return and my client booked his family for the following month. This is a true slice of heaven as anyone would imagine heaven to be.

Left the world behind and found paradise
There may be no greater spot in all of the world to escape from the crazy world and find true happiness! My kids unplugged their phone and picked up a book. Instead of driving to sporting events, we enjoyed the majestic beauty of the Exumas and snorkeled among the most amazing sea life I have ever seen. The house was perfect...simple yet elegant. The area of the Exumas, including the neighboring islands of Staniel Cay, enabled us to meet some of the kindest and light hearted people in the world. Gage Parrot, as our tour guide and the host on the island is one of a kind and made the trip one that we will remember forever. A most do for families or just a group of friends

Terrific, fun, great, laughter, love, peace,
I stayed with the owner, Judy, my sister accompanied by 7 other women and Gage to help us all. It was marvelous and I look forward to doing it again. I especially liked the ride back from Fowl Cay. Close you eyes gage.

Little Majors Spot is owned and loved by a woman known here as Gutsy Lady. She is a matriarch within her family of four children and fifteen grand children and, to the community, whom have nicknamed her, Gutsy Lady. For over twenty years the family has visited here to connect with one another and the locals they have come to love. To disconnect with the world and explore all that the Exumas has to offer. To reignite the adventurer within or settle back into the quietude of a private island.

Why they chose this property

Why a private island?
Dance on edges. Stretch. Listen in on shells. Put living things back. Cultivate quiet. Boogie. Practice simplicity. Sugar yourself with sand. Float. Carry a bucket. Go with the wind. Walk tender. Laugh like a gull. Thank. *Gingras.
