Your private mountain getaway!
Walk in the front door and turn left for the spacious kitchen.
My favorite part of the kitchen - this year-round mountain view! Even more spectacular in person.
Everyone always gathers in the kitchen! This one has a view of the mountain, open cabinets for easy access, and everything you need to cook meals in.
Right of the front door is the upstairs living room - warm and inviting.

Cozy stay in Black Mountain

We had a wonderful time at Brighthaven. So close to so many beautiful hikes and good food. Came with family (group of 7), including two kids (ages 12 and 8). Kitchen was well stocked, beds and rooms were comfy and had ample space for all of us to sleep comfortably. Christina was a wonderful host and promptly communicated whenever we had questions. Best features were the outdoor fire pit with lights and all the little indoor spaces the kids used to play hide and seek :) would 100% stay again, am already planning on bringing my friends!

College Send-Off

Our friends' daughter is going to be going to Montreat College, so they planned to bring her up to get her settled in. Since they live so far away in Florida, and we live in NC, we all decided to make a reunion weekend out of it and stay together at a house in Black Mountain. This charming house held 2 couples and 3 teenage girls with room to spare. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for the amount of people we had, and that's with their daughter and a few new college friends coming by. The kitchen had everything we needed. All of the porches were put to great use, and we even got to enjoy the fire pit area out back. SO relaxing and serene with the Adirondack chairs and string lights. Our host, Christina, was great at communication, and when our friends decided to stay one more night, she was quick to approve it. We even had some weird charge issues that she followed up with until she knew all was well. We highly recommend this house in the mountains. It was a great place to unwind and fellowship.

Cozy Getaway

This property is breathtaking. Super cozy vibes and decor, everything we needed to cook for ourselves and stay entertained. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and little creek in the backyard. The guestbook gave us plenty of good options for food and drinks. We recommend going to Blue Ridge Biscuit Company and Dough House right next door (try their tajin donuts). Everything is very convenient to the house and we also hopped to Asheville for a day trip. Black mountain is a lovely town and we’d gladly stay at Christina’s place again when we come back.
