This was a beatiful property near the top of the mountain.Wonderful views. Spacious. Perfect for a family with multiple generations. Would highly recommend as a great place to stay for a family gathering.
We stayed for 1 month and would have happily stayed longer if not for other commitments back home. The house is large, clean and well stocked with quality linens, dishes and kitchen utensils. The appliances were all in good working order. The beds were comfortable. Our mornings were often spent in the sunroom, which welcomed us with a spectacular view of the sunrise (in fact, this room is probably where I spent most of my time). On a clear day, we could see all the way to Stone Mountain! The windows open to receive a fresh breeze, and to the wildlife scurrying in the woods below. During the day we enjoyed hiking the many trails that Big Canoe has to offer. The hikes range from easy (paved) to difficult (very steep with uneven footing). I found the Nancy Womack Trail beyond my ability. The Lower and Upper Falls trails, John Williams, Covered Bridge and Nature trails were all beautiful - a hikers paradise! After getting some quality exercise on the trails, we returned to the house to lounge on the sofa in front of one of the largest TVs I’ve ever seen!We had a very positive experience from booking to checkout. Would highly recommend!
