We had a wonderful stay at Bison Hills! The location was fantastic and great for a family. We love coming to Cody a couple of times and year and would definitely stay here again.
A short walk to downtown and the Irma. The layout was perfect for our family and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Cody.
We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the heat didn't heat the back half of the house well and when we went to use extra blankets left in living room closet the blankets were covered in animal hair and crumbs and old stuck food. Everything else was lovely though.
House has been completely remodeled. Loved the rear porch area and the completely fenced in back yard. My Family enjoyed the stay. Deer were running around town and could be seen it the front or back yards of homes in the neighborhood. Very nice neighborhood. Alot of things to do and see in and around Cody. It would have been nice to have a couple more TV's like in the bedrooms for watching TV or Kids playing their video games. Also, a working Dishwasher would have been nice.
This is and old house, but there has been some updates done. Unfortunately the appliances were not included in the upgrades. We did all of our cooking outside, so the old appliances did not affect us as much as it might others. The refrigerator had a broken drawer and one drawer that sticks real bad and screeches ever time it is opened. The back corner of the fence has a week spot that your dogs can escape into the alley. The floors need to be cleaned better. We had a 1 yr old and the first morning we were there, his feet and legs were black from crawling on the floor, everything else was clean, just the floors need a little more attention. Also, the shower door leaks in one of the bathrooms and makes a mess. However, the house is cute and in a nice neighborhood. It is only a couple of blocks from the Bill Cody Center of the West, which is awesome by the way. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. House just needs a little more TLC.
To start with, I somehow messed up the dates and we arrived 1 day early. The host was very understanding and worked with us. The 2 King Beds were very comfortable. Fairly well stocked kitchen [I couldn’t find dish rags or pot holders]. The dishwasher doesn’t work, but, that didn’t bother us at all. Although dated, the home was very inviting and our family was able to make ourselves right at home. Location was perfect! Close enough to walk to just about anywhere in town, but, just far enough away, that it was very quiet.
We had a hiccup with the internet one night, and our hosts was easily reachable, quick to respond, and was able to contact the owners and have the problem solved in no time at all!
The check out process was a breeze.
Overall, the home was everything we were looking for. We stayed over a week. Short day trip to Yellowstone, Thermopolis {Hot Springs, Dinosaur Museum, Petroglyphs}, and Powell.
Our only recommendation would be to trim the bushes that overhang the driveway.
We will definitely return to Cody, and, this will be the top of the list of places to stay when we do.
Thank You
Teresa R.
