About this property

Located in Delacroix, Louisiana! We have our full-service marina/boat launch right across the street. We sell nonethanol fuel, live shrimp, dead shrimp, tackle, ice, etc. We have a fish cleaning station and BBQ pits. Our lodges sleep 6- very spacious. If you lodge with us, you can leave your boat in the water. Sweetwater lodge is the perfect spot for fishing-a one stop shop! We, also, have a food truck across from our lodge- open Thursday- Sunday. Walk across the street and hop in the boat for a nice day on the water-after watching a beautiful Louisiana sunrise.

I am Captain Jack- owner &operator of Sweetwater Marina, Lodge & Guide service. I was born & raised here in Louisiana. I am a charter captain and have been since 1996. I, also, catch my own live shrimp! I opened Sweetwater in 2006.
I am thrilled to host others, because I enjoy watching others enjoy my business-that I built from the ground up. Watching customers experience the beautiful marshes and fishing that Louisiana has to offer is a gift in itself. I grew up fishing and hunting all over Louisiana. & I chose to open up my business in Delacroix, because it is one of the last greatest fishing locations left in our great state. I, also, always enjoy meeting and talking to all of my wonderful customers and making them into friends/family. I do go above and beyond to ensure that my customers have a wonderful stay here at Sweetwater. I do help all of my customers by pointing them in the right direction based off what type of fish they are targeting. I do offer charters- call us to book you charter with me today!

What makes this property unique

My property is easily accessible. We have parking for your truck/trailer next to the mobile home. You can leave your boat in the water next to our back down launch. We have a fully operational marina right across the street- nonethanol fuel, live shrimp, dead shrimp, ice, tackle, etc. We, also, have a food truck right across from our lodge open Thursday- Sunday. Our units are very spacious and will sleep up to 6 guests. Our launch opens up right into Bayou Gentilly- which is super convenient.
