About this property

Stunning 17th century farm house, close to Paris and Versailles, with pool!

Come stay in a fully renovated farm house, built in the 1600's, where legend has it d'Artagnan once lived. Three floors, lots of space for sleeping and living. Old-world charm with terra cotta tiled floors and wood-beamed ceilings. Nestled in a very quaint village--the bakery is 50 feet/20 meters away--the property feels like a hidden paradise. Beautiful courtyard (for your car parking as well) and lovely property behind, entirely redone by landscapers in 2024. Home gym and also game room. Grand piano to boot! Close to the RER A which takes you to Paris in 20 minutes. And, yes, a pool!
Perfect for the Olympic Games, either in Paris or Versailles. Paris is beautiful but quite hot and polluted in summer time--what better way to spend your evenings than outside with pool and barbecue, listening to birds and not cars!

Why they chose this property

The village is extremely charming and quiet, With the forest, just a three minute walk ; but also is next to the famous Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the most beautiful & international town in the Paris suburbs. Convenient for going into Paris during the day, Versailles, Rambouillet, nearby, golf, etc.

What makes this property unique

The house is 400 years old, and has lots of history, as does the town. It has been beautifully restored, and everything is of extremely high quality. The landscaping is gorgeous; having a pool in such a small village is a rare privilege; and as soon as you walk in you feel Immediately relaxed and at home !
