Beautiful home

This home was absolutely beautiful and accomodating for myself and family. The check in process was so simple and easy. I loved it!! Will definitely stay here again for the future!!

Nice house but needs some TLC

Stayed here for a family vacation. The house was nice and big, plenty of room for our family. There were a few issues we had, I paid for pool heat and the pool was a great temp but the hot tub did not seem to get hot. I contacted the property management and they came out to check, they said everything was working fine and it would only get a maximum of 88 degrees. We were able to figure out the hot tub heat 3 days before we left, there are 2 switches which are not labeled, the one on the right is for the heat and one on left is for jets. You have to turn the heat on for a good hour or two before you turn the jets on for the hot tub to actually work correctly. Wish they would have instructed us to do that so we could have enjoyed the hot tub the whole time. The beds are "ok" could use new mattress in the kids rooms. A lot of the nobs and handles were broken off the dressers and head boards were not even attached. We made due with that. There is also an alarm on the back slider by the pool that goes off if the door is opened unless you press a button, it is a great safety feature for people with young children but was more annoying to us since my children are older. All in all our stay was good, very nice community and safe. Would i rent this house again? Probably not, but if they make some fixes then maybe. Hope this helps

2 week stay

Spent a great 2 weeks at the property again. This was maybe the 5th time here. We keep returning as we enjoy it so much! Nice to see some updates since last time like furniture and appliances. Well done.

Here’s what I thought

Everything was cleaned and organized, and great. Neighborhood was nice as well. The only thing we really had any problem with was the wifi password. No one contacted us with the information the whole trip. I didn’t need it myself but we had children that did at night.

Our favorite vacation home in Florida!

We have stayed here multiple times and will keep coming back. Everything about this place is great! Lots of space and private pool. Host is friendly and quickly responds to make your vacation the best it can be. We've rented several vacation homes and the this is by far our favorite.

Great Stay At Ming's Home In Emerald Island

Clean, comfortable property and a great experience staying at Ming's home. All instructions for getting in to the resort and accessing the house were sent well in advance. We didn't need the property management company, but there were signs all over the house with instructions for getting in touch with them if needed. Pool and Hot Tub were excellent, and the game room in the garage (with pool table) was a very nice touch, although we didn't make time to use them. We will definitely be back. Thanks Ming!

Minor Issues BUT we had a wonderful time!

There were a few damages that I let be known up front but one thing I would recommend is new chairs for the kitchen table bc someone could really get hurt. The blinds need to be replaced bc of location. Pool water was not warm but we still had so much fun in the water. The house was amazing for the most part and the location was excellent. I would not mind renting here again bc the property owner reached right back out with my concerns. They were not fixed but as long as he knew we didn’t do that stuff I don’t care bc we had so much fun.

Pictures don't do it justice!!

Perfect space for families with kids! Great size pool and great game room! The community is beautiful. The clubhouse has a nice gym with a walking trail, heated pool, and bike rentals.

Nice neighborhood No complaints Great entertainment room was a plus Very larger kitchen and dining space Pool was clean and the jacuzzi was a plus. Plenty of extra covers and pillows if needed. Washer an dry helped tremendously. The even offer larger beach tiles. We loved it and it was well worth its money.

Clean but not as much communication as we would like

Very clean and nice place with a great pool. The owner was very friendly. The only real issue was communication. There were signs that were not up-to-date. Check out communication was poor because the app said 11am check out, our initial email said 10:30am but someone came to the door at 9:30am on our check out date wanting to start cleaning and said we had to be out by 10am. I will say they were good about replacing a microwave when it broke. Overall, a nice stay.

Lovely Home

The home was lovely with a super nice layout for multiple groups staying together. The home was short on supplies (dish soap, dishwasher soap, scrubby for dishes, hand towels), causing an extra trip to the store. This may be due to COVID but was unexpected. The owner was great and easy to communicate with to support requests.

Super host; Super house

The posted pictures are nice, but the house is even better in person! The bedroom layout worked particularly well for our situation, as there was one small family with infants who benefited from having some additional space away from the other guests sometimes and that was possible. Ming was great with communications and made things very easy. The only suggestion was not related to the home, but rather the process required to enter the resort the first time. Pack a little patience if you are coming in at a time that many others are starting their vacation because it can be a little slow at the gate if you are coming in later in the day/evening until all of your party is checked in. Someone will have to fill in a form to gain access to the house and a gate card. You can just list the names of everyone staying in the house on that. However, anyone else who has a vehicle also will need a separate gate card. Just go to the clubhouse and have your license plate number and the address of where you are staying. You will fill out a separate form, pay a $10 cash deposit and they will give you a key. When you return the gate key, you'll get back your $10. After that, it's very very simple to get in and out of the resort. We rented 3 houses in Emerald Island to celebrate a wedding nearby. All three were wonderful, including this one and if you are headed to the amusement parks, the location can't be beat...Have fun!!!

Very comfortable property!

Communication with the Ming, the property owner, was very easy and quick. Ming was responsive and friendly and took care of our needs. The property had a minor issue with pool heat that was resolved immediately by the owner and property manager. The property manager was also very responsive and addressed our needs on site. I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again when in the area if available!.

Clean house, great for our famiky

The house was very clean and the owner, Ming, was great, answering our e-mails quickly. The house was a good size for our family of 4, with plenty of room to spare. The pool was great, very clean. Kids loved the pool table, in the game room, which kept them busy at the rare times that we were there in the evening. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing the house could use is some more towels, especially beach towels.

our 2018 vacation, july 14 - August 11

First let me say that we have stayed at emerald isle resort about 10 times in different homes of different sizes, we began staying at this resort in 2006 and ever since we only stay here, prior to our first stay here we used to rent in different areas around Disney as we try to go at least once a year, by far this is one of the nicest areas near Disney. We previously stayed at this house in 2016 for 2 weeks and we were very pleased with the layout, with the cleanliness, the pool area and the price, we couldn't take a vacation on 2017 other wise i would be writing that this is our 3rd time staying at this house, Lol, we were really pleased with everything in 2016 that we decided to rent it again this year, this time for a month, one again everything was great, with only minor things that you can see Ming, the owner, is taking care of so i did not bring it up to his attention, this are NOT complaints and DID NOT in any way made our time there any less enjoyable as we understand it is a rental home and there are renters that don't take care of things like their own and you just can't switch out some things every time someone rents the house, here are some of things that i can point out, the dressers the knobs are loose or missing, the sofas have some stains and the pool table only had one cue stick, to us this doesn't matter since the game room is hardly used by us and we spend most of our time in the pool which has plenty of lounge chairs and a table with plenty of chairs to just seat there and relax, love the pool area and the spa, we did once had to contact Ming because it rained quite hard for about a day and the pool, i guess you can say, lost its chlorine smell so my wife was a bit concern about that, the response was swift, Ming called his management company which in turn sent some one to clean and chlorinate the pool right away, thank you for that the wife was very happy. there is a beautiful new refrigerator which keeps your beers or your non alcoholic beverages nice and cold for those hot days spent out side in the pool area, the kitchen head plenty of cups, plates and utensils for every one. As with any home you rent your only provided start up essentials, be mindful of that so the longer you stay you'll have to buy your own. We had a wonderful month stay in Ming's home that we are DEFINITELY going to be staying here again on our next vacation. Thank you Ming for allowing us to rent your home for our 2018 vacation, hope to be there in 2019!
