Welcome to Bay Breeze Retreat! This bright and spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home exudes cozy beachy vibes, perfect for your family getaway. Whip up delicious meals in the chef's delight kitchen, then head out to the outdoor deck patio to soak up the sun and enjoy stunning views of Sea World's summer fireworks at night as well as the spectacular 4th of July firework show. This perfect family-friendly home is ideally located close to all the attractions San Diego has to offer!

The Space:
3 guest bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as one full bathroom w/ tub
The upstairs main living area has a chef's kitchen (with everything you'd ever need to cook!), a half bath, a cozy living room, patio/ deck where you can feel the ocean breeze, and the master bedroom complete with ensuite bathroom. All beds are queen-sized.
Driveway parking for 2 cars!
Please note: The "garage" is actually a studio unit rented separately. There are no common or shared spaces with the studio guest.

Long weekend

There were 4 adults in my group and we all raved about this VRBO. We were a few blocks from the grocery store and some tasty pizza. The communal space was perfect to unwind with a glass of wine at the end of the day & we all slept like babies in our rooms. We would love to stay here again!

Could have been cleaner

Our first impression was arriving 15 min prior to check in and being unable to enter the property until exactly 3:01pm. The information from the host indicated we might be able to check in early and this exactness left a bad taste in our mouth. We had been traveling since 2am and would have appreciated 15 min of grace. You enter at the ground floor with the 3 bedrooms and this space was rather frigid and honestly colder than outside. Key thing the host should communicate is that only 2 out of 3 bedrooms have mini-splits, so for the third bedroom to get heat or aircon, you’ll need to sleep with all doors open. We made this work for our group but didn’t allow much privacy. Also note that the backyard for this property is accessed through one of the bedrooms. Depending on your desired privacy, this may not work for your group. The upstairs is accessed through a rather steep staircase that I would not recommend traversing in the dark or if slightly off balance. The upstairs contains the master suite, half bathroom, kitchen, living area, and outside balcony. This gets extremely warm in the afternoon. (We were here in January.) This could be corrected but took a lot of attention and adjustment. Then our main issue was the cleanliness. The sheets and comforters had prominent stains. We had to wash everything in the kitchen before we used it because of food remnants. As a beach-ish property, we were ready for the floors being sandy, but not to the level of turning socks black.

Great Location, Beautiful Home!

We loved everything about this place! So conveniently located to everything. Beautiful decor, comfortable beds, well outfitted. Lots of extras like plenty of tp & trash bags. Snacks, condiments etc in kitchen. Loved our stay here! Hopefully we’ll be back!

Awesome location

The location was central to so many things we needed to do in San Diego, including the Military Depot, restaurants, the beach, and even the San Diego Zoo. We even found a little coffee shop a block away that we could walk to. Even the neighbors were friendly. The place was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed, even beach towels and beach chairs, since we had flown in. There were separate controls for the AC and the 7 of us really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this rental for your stay in San Diego.

Great Place and Great Location

The 4 bedrooms were perfect for us. It is a short drive to the bay, beaches, Sea World and downtown. The front balcony is a perfect place to watch the Sea World fireworks every evening. It was very clean and well appointed. The host responded quickly to any questions I had. Next time we are in SD, we’ll definitely stay here again!!!

Great house for 6 guests or even more!! Wonderful kitchen and beautiful place to go for a jog in the morning! Overall a perfect place for the fam and the fur babies
