Perfect Vacation Home

The home was clean, cozy, and filled with everything you would need. The beds were extremely comfortable and we appreciated having access to beach chairs and other recreational items. Property owner was very accommodating and responsive. We also enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and beach proximity. We hope to stay there again!

Great location

Great location to beach, restaurants, and anything else you’d need. Used the available beach gear everyday. Older, dated beach house property but no major issues. Owner was great to work with.

Perfect Location

We were here for our son’s wedding and this was the perfect location, the house was exactly 1 block from the ceremony!! Very peaceful location! Thank you Jim!!

Great location for low key long weekend!

Met our needs for a comfortable stay. Location was great as it was in walking distance to the beech, bay front, and local restaurants. Had bikes available to ride an easy ride around the entire area. Sea Critters had the freshest seafood and coldest beer with less than a 2 minute walk to get there. The only negative of our stay was the spectrum television service. Jim was very responsive to the problem and easily reachable. Had we have been there longer I’m sure he would have taken care of the issue. In the interim we did have a quick fix that partially worked.

Fun week!!

Enjoyed our stay. First time at Pass A Grille and it did not disappoint. Easy communication with property manager. Check in was easy. Just a short walk to the beach! We would stay again! Thanks Jim!

Cute and relaxing

The suite was cute and relaxing. It was quiet on the bottom unit. We didn't hear the people above or the traffic. Nice close walk to the beach, which felt like 3 to 4 minutes. Very nice area. We are talking of visiting there again.

Perfect beachside getaway

We love everything about this property—the unit, how well it is stocked, the location, including its proximity to the beach and the local bus line...I could go on. It’s a very quiet and safe area, something that certainly added to our relaxation. Shaner’s Market next door was super convenient with an excellent selection of fresh grilling meats and seafood, as well as prepared foods to-go. We recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Terrific week in Pass-A-Grill!!

This was our second trip to this charming condo in Pass-A-Grill. The location is perfect...a very short walk to the beach, a small grocery store 1/2 block away, 2 great restaurants across the street and a short bus ride to several others. The condo is clean, convenient, and well maintained. I’ll be back and plan to stay longer next time!!

Cozy retreat

This cozy cottage was the perfect place to take a month away from the hustle and bustle of life. Everything was great: the comfy bed, the white fluffy towels, the well-appointed kitchen, the new full-size refrigerator, the location. Thanks to Jim Wilson for providing such a wonderful getaway!

A wonderful beach house close to the beach

The place was clean and well furnished. Jim thought of everything we needed, from kitchen utensils to beach and bathroom towels. Jim also provides beach chairs, toys and 4 bicycles (we enjoyed them at the beach). The beds were comfortable and the added dressers in the room provided enough space for our clothes. We all fell in love with this beach house. For the area around the house; the laundrymat is less than a 2 minute walk ($2.00 per load for washer and 25 cents for 7 minutes for the dryer); we were not too impressed with Sea Critters for price but the Warf next door is amazing; Shaners is a great place for groceries and fresh deli sandwiches but if you need a full service grocery there is a Publix a few minutes north. Make sure to take the bikes for breakfast at Paradise Grille, nothing like eating chocolate chip pancakes while watching the ocean. Close proximity to Merry Pier for the Shell Key shuttle (snorkels and shell bags provided) or fishing. The beach is about a 2 minute walk from the front door and it is beautiful. The best part about this beach is that it's not crowded, since it's further south from all the tourist traps. If you need time to slow down, this is the place. Take short drive north and experience John's Pass boardwalk for water sports (wave runners, fishing and para sailing) but on your way there you must stop at Twistie Treats (daily visit for us). Did I mention we love this place? We did not have a chance to take in the kayak tour but make sure and call ahead for any water activities since it all based on weather. Can't say enough about this place and the area. Enjoy it!!!

Cute home near the beach

The home was charming. Beach toys, towels and bikes that were made available to us was greatly appreciated. Small store and restaurants nearby were super handy. Road construction in the area made it challenging to get around.

Great Vacation Spot

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 young kids for 5 days and had a wonderful time! Jim was awesome and helped us out by having a pack n play, stroller and high chair there waiting for us so we didn't have to fly with all of that. There were also chairs, coolers, sand toys, umbrella, towels, you name it for our use which was SO wonderful! A quick walk to the beautiful beach, a few local restaurants and market make this a great place to stay. We were a tad bummed to see how close we were to the main road (more of a worry because we have young kiddos) which there was a TON of construction going on. Obviously nothing Jim can do about it and didn't keep us up, but hopefully that is over soon as it was a tad annoying. All in all this was a great place to stay and all the pictures were very accurate of what you can expect. We would definitely come back!

Charming and a great location

What a great week near this beautiful beach! We loved the Pass-A-Grille area and this location was perfect. The Sea Critters and Wharf just across the street had the best seafood and service ever! We were just a couple minutes walk to the beach with an easy access walkway. At night we jumped on the trolley and found several really fun beach bars. We also found a grocery store this way but often just used the market that was next door to the condo. The only draw back was the road construction going on right now...it was kind of a mess. BUT it will soon be completed and the area will benefit from newer and safer roads. I will certainly be back to this charming little jewel....

Great vacation rental in a great location

My family and I stayed here last fall for a brief vacation and enjoyed everything about the place. Conveniently located, everything in Pass-A-Grille is within walking distance. The beach, a convenient mart, and several restaurants/bars are within a block. The various rafts and beach toys available for the kids were a nice touch. We didn't get the pleasure of meeting Jim, but everything was well prepared and in working order for our arrival. Will definitely stay here again.

A little congested - but WORTH IT!

Lots of (positive) construction going on in the area, which made travel a bit of a hassle, but if you were just walking to the beach or one of the great restaurants nearby, it was not an issue. The house itself was the right size for our family of 4, and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Had never stayed in a house with both an upstairs/downstairs rentals, but did not have any issues with noise from the 'upstairs' neighbors. This is a great location, would not hesitate to stay here again!

Comfy, well equipped and minutes walk from world class beach!

This is a great place to spend a week or a month. It was comfortable and clean and as advertised. It is well equipped for beach going, cooking and just relaxing. It is close to restaurants and the beach. We would definetly stay there again!

Amazing Location

Everything about this property is in reality just as it appears. The only thing not 100% clear is just how ridiculously close the place is to the beach! It's probably 120 seconds from your feet leaving the home to touching the sand. Awesome. Jim was very responsive and even helped provide some needed baby-related items for us. 24hr coin-laundry 50 yards away helped us pack lighter and just clean everything mid-stay. Two great bars and a great pizza joint all in walking distance.

Karen Love and her sister Kelly Love (the Love Sisters) rented this apartment after graduating from Eckerd College. Karen married Jim Wilson, but didn't want to give up the Love Shack. 22 years and 5 children later, Karen and Jim still enjoy our Pass A Grille get away. We hope that you will too!

Conveniently located between Shanner's, Sea Critters, the beach. With on site Parking (parking can be a challenge on a nice day in PAG), this is a perfect location to enjoy Pass A Grille.
