Beautiful Studio - Walk to Beaches

Very clean and private studio (bedroom + bathroom and kitchenette) in beautiful Tahoe City Cabin: best location!
We are perfectly located in Tahoe City: just steps away from unique Skylandia and Bristlecone parks and beaches. We are 5 mn drive from excellent restaurants, unique boutiques, best coffee shops and beautiful landmarks; but no need to drive to access amazing beaches and incredible views.
Private parking area shared with owner of the property, children welcome! note: deck not incl.

Bedroom / Bathroom with little kitchenette, completely remodeled and very clean.

Private space: no areas will be shared with other guests. This is completely private.

We are located on a very calm street, just minutes (walking) from two incredible beaches.

Public transportation is available in Tahoe, however, we do recommend having your own car.

IMPORTANT - The transient occupancy tax will be included in your total, you do not have to worry about paying this fee upon arrival or check out.

CANCELATION POLICY: if you are concerned about our strict cancellation policy, please be sure to purchase travel insurance as we will not be offering additional refunds. -- suggests InsureMyTrip and Squaremouth.
This insurance will be helpful in case of weather, fire, pandemics or other circumstances which would cause you to cancel your trip.
We only refund if it is necessary for us to close our -- due to unexpected circumstances. When you sign our --contract, you acknowledge you have a strict cancellation policy.

COVID: If we are forced to shut our rental due to the COVID outbreak, we will be refunding your stay. However, if -- in our area are able to operate, no refunds will be given to guests who book after 3/15/2020, this is again, why we suggest purchasing travel insurance. (affordable and piece of mind)

FIRES/SMOKE/AQI: If we are forced to shut our rental/evacuate due to a fire we will be refunding your stay. However, if -- in our area are able to operate despite fires that are not a danger to our area, poor air quality and smoke, no refunds will be given.
We suggests you pay for travel insurance: InsureMyTrip and Squaremouth and recommended by --.


DATE CHANGES:
All changes between 7 to 14 days prior to arrival will be charged a 20% fee.
All changes between 3 to 7 days prior to arrival will be charged a 50% fee.
No changes will be accepted within 48 hours of arrival.
No exceptions, thank you for your understanding.
Please contact us first if you must change your dates.

Please let us know if you have any questions, we are happy to go over any house/guest rule with you.

- Quiet hours: 10pm-6am (a fee can apply if these rules are not respected, noise is loud and a neighbor complains)
- Absolutely no smoking or drugs on the property (there will be a $350 deep cleaning fee if guests smoke in the home)

Well-designed space, and it was spotless. Bed was comfortable, with high-quality sheets. It was a lovely place to stay, and an easy walk to the beach. I was surprised that there was just a microwave, not a regular stove -- the ad said "kitchen". Otherwise, no complaints!

Tahoe Elopement
Got married in Tahoe. This property is close to Skylandia Park (best place to have an intimate ceremony). Lize was great. The unit was perfect for my husband and me. Recommend it for a short stay in Tahoe.

Very Dissatified
I dont think the host saw any of my messages using the Vrbo app and I had no other way of communicating. However she would send me messages about the picking up the key. The listing is very misleading I thought I was renting the unit in the picture with the Deck above the garage but when i arrive i discover I rented a converted storage room behind the garage. The Ad says "Sierra View" no view what so ever. The ad is misleading and the accomodations are meager at best. Im claustrophobic and there is no where to sit in there besides the bed. it was not comfortable to eat. no room to turn around in the "bath" shower/toliet. The kitcken barely had room for one take-out container. I ended up sleeping in my car because it was snowing too hard to go anywhere leaving the next day cutting my stay a day short. The host is not responding to any of my complaints but is asking for a 5 star rating? You decide? No pictures on the ad. It says it is a studio but i seen closets bigger than this!

The place was cozy and just what we needed for a quick overnight stay. We had what we needed to be comfortable. The only downside was that the neighbors staying upstairs were loud but there’s not much you can do about that. Location was great! Barely 5 minutes to town.

Very cozy and clean. Minimal furniture, the studio needs seating. Very nice bed. Noisy neighbors, thin walls. The owner was very kind and helpful. Two miles to town.

In the middle of everything Lake Tahoe has to offer
My wife and I booked this property several months ago as the first piece of our Lake Tahoe vacation. We wanted something that was cozy and centrally located to all the major sites and attractions around Lake Tahoe. The location of this property is spot on being within walking distance of two beaches and a short drive to others like Kings Beach, Sandy Harbor Beach, and Commons Beach in the center of Tahoe City. There are plenty of places to eat and explore while in Tahoe City and neighboring towns. As for the property and Lize, the proprietor, Everything went smoothly with check in and there were no surprises. The unit itself is cozy and comfortable with all the rustic charm you can stand. The bathroom and kitchen area might be a little tight for some guests, but they are laid out very efficiently so it worked well for us. When we arrived the unit was very clean and ready for us to start our vacation. Lize is very responsive to requests but makes it a point not to be intrusive. If you are looking for the Tahoe experience this is a great place to start.

30th anniversary getaway
Cozy small efficiency bedroom and bath with refrig and coffeepot that was clean and all we needed. Truly appreciated the help of our host lize to print a hiking permit we needed for our next syop in lassen national park and with her dining suggestions to make our anniversary extra special. Loved to area and hope to return.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was a bit smaller and darker than we expected, and there is no real outdoor space attached to the unit. The deck shown in the picture is for the upstairs rental. Still. It seems to be a good value for money. We especially liked that it's just a 5 minute drive from downtown Tahoe City.
