Lovely manufactured older home in NW Tampa residential community (not a trailer park). It is situated on a Rocky Creek saltwater (brackish) canal that leads into Tampa Bay.
Available by Days, Weeks or Months. Flexible check-in day. Please check availability Calendar.
MINIMUM STAY: One week (January thru March), 2 nights (rest of year)
BRING YOUR BOAT & FISHING GEAR. Some basic fishing rods and reels are also provided.

Very nice place

Nice, clean rental unit on a canal. Was nice to sit outside by the waterway and relax. Nice spacious place well-equipped with everything we would need. Great screened lanai porch with views of the water. Air conditioning worked very well, kept the place very comfortable.

Winter rental

Jack is a very kind and generous person. We had some issues with the rental that needed addressed and Jack was very receptive to our concerns to make things better for us. The rental is located right next to a water inlet that was very nice. There are many ducks and birds to watch, and we saw a dolphin two days in a row. The neighborhood is so-so. I tried to do my daily walk and was nearly attacked by a dog on two separate occasions. There are many loose cats and dogs and run-down properties.

Cozy but needs attention

The house was pretty cozy. Lots of room. Right down the road from stores. We were concerned with the area. The neighborhood was a little shady looking and run down. We were woke up early by construction at the apartments. I can't say for the extra room but the master bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. But, there was a TV. Lol. We were given a gift by the landlord. That was a nice touch. The dog hair left behind on the couches and beds were not a nice surprise. I had to wash my daughters bedding before she could use it. They did let us delay our check out though bc we had a rough night and wanted to rest before taking the long haul home. Overall not bad. We're not high maintenance so it's whatever. Do need to consider changing mattresses and pillows and have housekeeping step it up a little.

Family Vacation

Property was great! Very clean and homey. The owner was awesome and easy to work with. Kids enjoyed kayaking right in the backyard. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay at or better experience. In the future if we come back down we would rent it again!

Great location For vacationing in the Tampa Bay area

Nice place for the money. All the amenities including washer and dryer were nice. Basic toiletries, such as soap were not provided. The house was spacious , but definitely in need of update and repair. AC worked great. Overall, an acceptable Property for the price and location. Would consider staying again in the future.

Beautiful house right on the canal. Very clean with everything you need... I felt right at home on vacation. The house was bigger than I thought. I can't say enough about how great our stay was. The owner was very responsive on anything that I needed. Will recommend and rent again.
